Advantages: Smells gorgeous, leaves skin lovely and soft

Disadvantages: None

This came in my Johnson's Baby Bath Box (which was one of my favourite baby presents - used everything in it!) but I did not start using it until baby was about 4 months old. This was simply because he suffered terribly with colic until 13 weeks and so I used to do baby massage using baby oil every night after his bath to help settle him.

Once I had stopped doing the nightly massages I tried using the baby lotion that was in the bath box instead of always using the baby oil and we got on so well with it. It smells absolutely divine - it has a proper 'baby' smell and whenever I have used it on my LO I always end up snuggling in extra tight for cuddles because he smells so good. It is not greasy at all and leaves his skin smooth and soft. You can often pick it up in the £1 shop of all places, so it is very reasonably priced and fabulous in the cold weather when his skin has been a little bit sensitive.

It comes in a baby pink bottle with the Johnsons logo on the front. The lotion itself is the same soft pink colour as the bottle, which has a squeezy top. The lid clicks back into place securely so there is no chance of leaks and it does not stain.

Summary: Another bathtime essential
