Advantages: Cheap and effective

Disadvantages: People might think you have a sprog

Lets be honest you can end up spending a small fortune, and I frequently do , on moisturisers intended to keep your skin young looking, healthy, hydrated and wrinkle free and while sometimes the extra cash is worth it you sometimes can be wasting your money using an expensive moisturiser on all of your body when there are tried and tested moisturisers out there that are just as effective and a fraction of the price.

Johnsons Baby Lotion is a classic example of such a product and one I have been using for many years particularly when on holiday as I find it is an excellent after sun cream as well and very cooling. It is also extremely kind on your skin as it is a product designed for babies, the clue is in the product name I guess.

It comes in a girlie pink bottle with blue writing and a pink flip lid with an aperture at the top. It is quite runny so becareful howhard you squeeze otherwise you will end up with too much.

It does not really have a strong smell, slightly clinical I always think and I find it ideal to use it when I have been removing body hair from various parets of my body as it has a soothing effect and keeps my skin nice and soft, a little does do a pretty good job of spreading out and it can be sightly greasy on the skin after applying it to I usually pad myself with a towel before putting on clothes.

At £2 this is a good value moisturiser for daily use on larger body surface areas and can save you money.

Summary: Good moisturiser

Johnson's stuff literally burns my skin as does simple stuff and oil of o'lay. My Mum uses this everyday though. Donna x
