Advantages: Great smell, lots of uses, very moisturising
Disadvantages: None
I can't imagine my bathroom cabinet without a bottle of baby lotion and that was before I had my son, it definitely wouldn't leave now.
It has so many uses. It is a really good moisturiser on adult and baby skin, it really helps to soothe sunburn, a lot better than most after sun creams. And I have super-burn skin and need to wear factor 30 so I have tried and tested many!! It has a really cooling feeling if you apply it to sore skin. Although it doesn't stop the itching it soothes insect bites and skin irritations quite well.
I love using it on my son because it leaves his skin so gorgeously soft. They also do a bedtime bath baby lotion that has the smell of lavender that is really nice. Mind you the original smell of baby lotion is just as lush.
The other good use is removing waterproof make up. It's really soothing and removes most make up really easily with only a couple of wipes using cotton wool.
It's a squeezy bottle and it is easy to control the flow of the lotion and blob it out so you don't feel you are wasting any by getting a massive splurge on your hands. I also like the fact you can get most of the lotion out of the bottle so you aren't wasting money.
This is definitely one baby product where own brands just don't come close they are not as thick and luxurious.
Summary: An excellent baby lotion worth the extra pennies over the own brands
