Advantages: Fab smell, lovely cooling lotion
Disadvantages: Price
I just love this lotion - the smell of this product alone is enough to get the nurturing hormones going of pretty much anyone (males and females alike!)
The lotion feels loving and cooling to apply and is quickly absorbed into the skin. It is advertised as being a product which can be applied as a frequent moisturiser after your baby has a bath to prevent dry skin, but as my boy doesn't suffer from dry skin I don't use it as an everyday lotion for that purpose. I tend to use it dabbed onto cotton wool to give grubby areas a final clean (won't go into where those grubby areas tend to be - use your imagination!).
The lotion provides an effective and extra gentle cleanser and works better than baby wipes or just water and cotton wool alone - and the best bit of course is that your little one is left smelling all fresh and babyish (for at least 5 minutes!!)
I also know mums who swear by using the lotion as a moisturiser for themselves, but I can't say as I am tempted - although I love my boy smelling all baby like I am not keen to smell like one myself!
I must admit to be a huge fan of Johnson's products and they are the only products that I use on my babies skin, as I trust the brand and this to me is important. They are certainly more expensive than say supermarkets own brand products (generally £2.50 upwards for 500ml but often on offer), and whilst I am sure that some alternative brands are just as good, I like the peace of mind that the Johnson's name brings (not to mention that gorgous smell).
Summary: Essential product for mums and babies
