I don?t know why, but I love Johnson?s baby products. They smell gorgeous, leave your skin lovely and are not too expensive, either! Although they are expensive for baby products, if you think of how much you would spend on an adult equivalent of a make up remover or something similar you would be paying a lot more money.


Until recently, I did not really consider something like Johnson?s baby lotion as a make up remover. My auntie told me that it was as good as any other make up remover and was gentle too. Seeing as I love the smell of the stuff, I went out and bought some straight away.


PACKAGING
Johnson?s baby lotion comes in a pink coloured bottle. The bottle is long and thin, in a square-ish oval shape. It has a matching coloured lid, but with harder plastic. It has a clear label stuck to it with ?Johnson?s baby lotion? on the front in blue letters as well as ?Johnson & Johnson?, ?200 ml e? and ?clinically mildness proven? on the front of it. On the back it has a clear label with information about its uses, its ingredients, a barcode and the company contact details on it. This is all in blue coloured writing. This bottle wouldn?t stand out amongst other baby products, due to the fact that most companies adopt the same colour scheme! Still, the colour is very baby pink and does match the image of baby products.

SMELL
This product smells lovely! It smells of baby talcum powder but stronger. The smell is not too strong, but not too weak either, leaving the smell on your skin but not to leave you like you have just walked out of a perfume shop!

PRODUCT
The product itself is lotion that is a baby pink colour, which is almost exactly the same colour as the bottle, just a shade lighter. It is a lotion but it is not too runny. It is not thick in texture, but runny, although it is easy to apply, as it is thick enough to stay on your skin for a (small) while before you spread it. Johnson?s baby lotion has m
any uses including a lotion to remove things that water alone can?t, help prevent nappy rash, remove makeup and it can also be used as a moisturiser! Wow ? this product is such a multiuse product ? you can use it on all the family saving a fortune!

I think that this lotion is great. I have used it as a make-up remover and a body moisturiser. My skin felt really soft afterwards and make up was removed effectively except for waterproof mascara, which needed a little extra help. My only problem with this remover is that it is not the easiest of make up removers and I had to wash my eyes afterwards as it left a greasy film on my eyelids. This is strange as it is not at all greasy when I use it as a body moisturiser, but I put this down to having to use more as the cotton wool soaks it up more.

DIRECTIONS
To use it as a make up remover or to help clean up baby put some lotion on a large blob of cotton wool. Simply wipe over the area to be cleaned and that?s all! It?s done. To use as a body moisturiser simply put some lotion into your hand and rub into required area. It is really simple to use this product.


ADVANTAGES
The advantages of this product are that it is really simple to use. There is minimum fuss. Johnson?s baby lotion is mild enough for newborn babies so you know it will be mild on you and your baby! It is clinically proven hypoallergenic, its lanolin free and it is enriched with protective ingredients so it is mild enough even for the more sensitive skins. Although anyone can be allergic to any kind of lotion, there is minimum risk with this one.


DISADVANTAGES
The disadvantage of this product is that it does not remove things like waterproof mascara easily. Johnson?s are not the cheapest in the baby product department and you can get shop own cheaper versions, but for a product as versatile as this you probably are making a massive saving at the same time.


CONCLUSION
Overall,
this product is amazing! There are so many different things you can do with this product and Johnson?s do produce many good quality products. Even if you don?t have babies, this lotion is great for yourself as well!
