Disclaimer:
Before I begin, I want to say that this opinion is on one type of Johnson's baby lotion - the new "bedtime lotion". Please don't read or rate it if you are not interested in the lotion or only this lotion!! Thanks!!

To Begin

I usually find it very difficult to get to sleep. For some reason, I tend to start stressing over everything as soon as my head hits the pillow! Consequently, I'm willing to try anything to get myself to sleep. I came across this new product accidentally in Boots recently and thought I would test it out.

Spec

This product is similar to the original Johnson's baby bedtime lotion, but this one has the added aromas of Lavender and Camomile. I bought the 300ml size, which set me back ?3.49. I believe that it is also available in a larger size. It comes in a similar bottle as the original, but this one has a purple and purple background colours on the front.
Application

What I usually do is rub it all over my face before going to bed. I also like to put more under my nose. The product spreads very easily, is quickly adsorbed into the skin.

Smell

I'm loving the smell of this!! It has the traditional Johnson's baby smell - you know that nice clean smell. I also get a nice mild smell of lavender. To be honest, I don't get the smell of camomile from it. I suppose it is only added in a small quantity, as camomile tends to be a very strong, concentrated smell in my opinion.

Effect

In terms of calming and relaxing, I definitely noticed improvements. I usually take deep breaths to inhale this and find it instantly soothing. Johnson's baby bedtime lotion is also very effective as a moisturiser. I suffer from dry skin on my face. Unfortunately, my skin care budget is very limited but I find that this does the job very well

Conclusion

I would recommend this product to any. Bei
ng an adult and all, I'm not entirely sure of the effect it has on babies, but I would it imagine it to have a similar effect. The product is relatively inexpensive too (even though it is from the world's most famous baby-care range) and works very well so it's very good value for money.

I would hope after reading my opinion (as you, lookaroundcafe2, appeaer to have done) that you would know exactly what I use it for and don't take too kindly to any other kind of accusations.
