Johnsons baby moisturizing bath

One of my favourite bath products. Not only Johnsons, the products I used with all three of my children, and apparently used by 80% of midwives on their own children, but this one has the added advantage of being moisturizing.

THE PRODUCT AND PACKAGING

Reassuringly Johnsons, and pure looking! The bottle is white with the usual Johnson name and logo with the bit I always look out for "no more tears".

The baby bath comes out a kind of blue colour (baby blue?) and is normal bubble bath/lotion texture. The smell is like all Johnson's products, which I would assume most people have smelled. If not, think clean babies all bathed and wrapped up… However, although it has a very distinctive smell, it's not overpowering, just clean smelling.

WHAT IT DOES

This moisturizing bath is apparently the mildest ever (presumably Johnson's mildest ever)and contains added baby oil, so it cleans and moisturizes baby, child, adult, anyone who wants to use it.

It also won't sting your eyes and can be used to wash even new born babies, since it is soap free and dermatologically tested and ph neutral.

HOW TO USE IT

Add to running water and swirl around to get those bubbles going. Remember, a little bit goes a long way; too much and you will be completely submerged in bubbles.

WHY I LIKE IT…

I like this and frequently use it because it can be used by the whole family without even causing irritation. Himself has psoriasis in moments of stress, and finds it does not irritate his skin, and when two teenage sons had an outcrop of the dreaded teenage spots, they were able to use it without fear of it aggravating their skin. It does moisturize our skin, and you are left feeling clean, sweet smelling and soft as the proverbial baby's bottom.

The only thing I have my doubts about would be its ability to wash really dirty bodies (eg after a game of rugby). Since it is so mild, I would imagine that it would take an awfu lot of the product to clean real grime. This has yet to be put to the test because very dirty teenagers use different products!

However, for every day bathing, I can't fault it…clean smelling, very gentle, so little miss doesn't get stinging eyes, and completely non irritating to the skin. Another winner from Johnson and Johnson.
