Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: None
I recently wrote a review about how some disposable razors recently tore my legs to ribbons. Not only have I been left scarred from the experience but I have suffered really bad dry flaky skin that in part even hurts cos I'm itchy as hell. Because I was cut I was using stuff like witch hazel and sudocrem but now that the blood leakage has stopped (finally lol) I started using regular baby oil which, finally in my lifetime I've found it really does have a use and I put some on the other night and noticed a visible improvement by the morning! So my bf took me to Asda and we decided to look for something else to try out and so I opted for this!
The Packaging....
200ml see-through bottle with flip top yellow plastic opening to the bottle of it concealing a small hole. On the front in blue writing I'm told it is Johnson's Baby Oil Gel 'Clinically Mildness Proven' With Camomile ' Locks in up to 10 times more moisture' and finally on the front I'm told it's a Johnson & Johnson product. On the back of the bottle on a white sticky label and again all in blue writing I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed, there is a bar-code on there, contact details for Johnson's are given, and finally the recycle symbol and size are shown. Nice enough bottle this is and I like being able to see the clear bubbly gel through the bottle so I can see when it needs replacing (if I want to replace it of course!) and it's a bottle with enough information on it and is sleek and easy to handle.

Using It....
I am amazed with this product for real lol. Sometimes we buy products that although we think they're ok we bought them without a job in mind. For example I buy body moisturisers and as long as they don't dry my skin out etc they are fine. If I'd of bought this and my skin was in ok condition maybe I wouldn't rate this highly but boy did I need it and boy did it help me out!
My main area of concern as I mentioned earlier was my legs. Sore, itchy, flaky, grazed and pink, the marks had started in some places to go purple in colour and scar. It was all made worse by flaking skin shredding all over bfs sofa! lol.
This gel is simply a breeze to use. A little of the clear quite thick in texture gel with a fresh hint of camomile goes a long way and as we are told we can apply it to wet or dry skin. The smell is lovely for starters, really crisp and clean and I have used this gel on dry, damp and wet skin and in honesty which ever way you prefer to use it is fine and for me the easiest way is on clean dry skin and it feels less greasy and is quicker drying than the other options.
As I said a little goes a long way making this at £2.09 (in Asda) oe of the most economical things I think I've ever purchased in my life lol!
It glides over the skin, is cooling and at first feels quite greasy. After-all it is an oil blended with vitamins etc. It dries into the skin leaving said skin glossy and looking and feeling alot smoother. Even on open wounds I found no tingle or burn or irritation at all. It dries into the skin within a minute or so and instead of grease feeling heavy on the skin you just feel lightly hydrated. I can even dress fairly quickly with this and wear white or silk if I wanted to without the fear of unsightly transfer and I don't even have to wipe my hands after applying it either!
The smell lasts all day delicately in the back ground of your life and it's simply so comfortable and nourishing to wear that me, I've become an addict.
Overall....
I'd be happy to use this on my baby but for me this is a real treat of a treatment. I've used it for a few days now and my skin in general is in amazing condition. The dry skin on my legs is almost gone and even the bf says they are looking a damn sight better than they did! This really is a must buy and I remember ages ago reading that Posh spice has her bathrooms full of this stuff and if it's good enough for her it's good enough for me lol. A real easy but effective product I shall buy time and time again particularly in the summer!
Summary: I love it!
