I bought this as my sons skin was looking a little bit dry.
He has a bath every night as part of his routine and obvious to me the cause of his dry skin.

I normally but Johnsons baby oil as I have used this myself on and off for years and know it works but, when something new comes on the market, you think it will be an improvement on the old product. No,I was mistaken there!!

The instructions on the can say :

Shake well before use, hold can upright.Should be applied to the hand before rubbing into babies skin.

Thats it, no further instruction needed, great I thought,so after his bath I followed the instructions and put about an egg sized ball of mousse on my hand ready to apply, well the mousse had almost disappeared by the time I got anywhere near baby!

Not great value for money and thats an understatement!!
I had to use about 4 egg sized ball of the stuff just to get any effect whatsoever.

It went on okay if not a bit watery and didn't seem like an oil at all.
When it had soaked in,it was like I had used nothing on his skin so I had to resort to the good old Johnsons baby oil(not mousse).
In my opinion Johnsons should not have bothered with this stuff.

Its obvious they are trying to keep up with the times but, failed miserably in this case.

It costs around 3 pounds for a 150ml can so its not cheap!
Johnson are renouned for there advertising saying there products have clinically proven mildness!Well in this case its so mild you might as well have not bothered!

It does smell nice and thats about the best thing about it I'm afraid.

Available in most chemists and supermarkets but I would advise you not to waste your money. I am a big fan of almost all the Johnsons range but this is a big disappointment!!

Great op. Don't the babies get slippery though when they've had these products put on. I remember trying to keep hold of my son when he was a baby suffering from excema. He was like a slippery worm, 'you've been framed' material, l think.
