      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Not just for babies

Johnson's baby oil, and in fact the whole of the Johnson's baby range, has always been a feature in my bathroom. I think baby lotion was the first thing I ever bought from Boots, many many years ago, and it is still something I always keep well stocked.

This is my review of baby oil though.

Baby oil comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pale pink cap. It is completely colourless. It smells very clean. It has a very distinctive smell but isn't fruity or floral - just very clean.

I always buy the biggest bottle available as I get through this stuff like you would not believe and the bigger the bottle the better the value usually. A 500ml bottle you can expect to pay around £4 which I think is cheap for a product that is so versatile.

I use this oil as a moisturiser after my bath some nights, I pour it onto my still wet skin and rub it in. The only problem with this is that it never really feels completely soaked in and so you wouldn't want to put clothes on straight away that may get spoilt. I always put my pjs straight on as I get out of the bath though so this doesn't matter to me.

Sometimes I also add a squirt of this to y bath, this makes the water feel really nice and silky, but it also means that you cannot wash your hair in the bath as it will make it so very greasy.

Finally, I use this as a shaving gel. On wet skin I absolutely drown myself in this and my razor absolutely glides, no hint of a rash or a nick. this also has the benefit of moisturising at the same time!

This is such a cheap and versatile product

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Excellent all rounder

When pregnant I think I must have gone out and purchased every Johnson's Baby product available. Some of them I used once or twice, others like this one became staples in my household.

In a clear plastic bottle, you can clearly see the amount you have left to use which is handy. The Johnson's logo makes it easy to identify the brand and the baby pink flip top lid makes it easy to dispense the oil. Be careful however as if you tip up the bottle too much you will be left in an oily mess, when it comes to this product a little really does go a long way.

Originally, the oil was used on my baby. Initially to soothe her dry skin that she suffered from in the initial days after being born. I then enrolled on a baby massage course and I then used the baby oil to incorporate massage into her bedtime routine, which in turn helped her sleep better. I also used it on her after bathing to lock in the moisture and prevent her delicate skin from drying out.

Since using this in my Daughter, I have gone on to use it on my sons and also myself. I am yet to find a better moisturiser that leaves my skin feeling silky smooth for at least 24 hours afterwards. I just apply it when my skin is still damp and voila! Lovely silky smooth skin!!!

A must have staple in every house!

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

great for lots of different skin types so perfect for your family

I first used baby oil many years ago before I actually had any babies. I bought it as a friend had recommended it to me. She had used it on holiday and it had stopped her peeling. As I was a bit of a sun tan addict I thought id give it a go.

I now use it for my children as well as myself. I normally buy it from the supermarket just because that's easiest. The oil comes in a clear bottle with a pale pink flip top. The oil is very east to dispense as it just pours out when you flip the lid and tip it.

I now use it daily after my shower just because it keeps my skin so soft. When I have finished in the shower before I get dry I simply apply the oil to my skin and rub it in. I then just get dried as normal there is no need to rinse it off.

When I used it on my holidays it definitely helped prevent peeling, I used to always peel whilst I was on holiday usually in the second week but now I use this daily in the shower I have found that it keeps my tan. Its brilliant.

When I had children I found it was also great for their skin too. I now use it on them too, not every day I find that a couple of times a week is enough.

My eldest son who is now 10 suffers with really dry skin and we have found applying this a couple of times a week really improves it.

I have also used baby oil to make a body exfoliate I did this using sugar and baby oil (sounds crazy I know) but try it you will not be disappointed it removes all the dead skin cells and the oil really keeps the skin soft.

The only bad thing about the oil is that if you use it in the shower it can leave the shower really slippery for the next person so please be careful!

I would definitely recommend this oil as its a great family product.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

good product but prefer the body lotion

When you think of baby wash products you instantly think of Johnsons. I remember my mum using their products on me as a child so when I had my daughter naturally I gravitated towards Johnsons baby products.

I usually use Johnsons body lotion on my daughter but brought a bottle of the Johnsons baby oil to try for a change. It can be brought in bottles of 300ml for £2.85 and 500ml for £4.25 - prices taken from the Boots website. It is widely available in supermarkets and chemists.

It is for moisturising and massaging baby's skin and locks in moisture. It can also be added to the bath. It is also suitable for use if baby has cradle cap.

It comes in a clear bottle with blue writing and the Johnsons logo with a pink flip top cap. It is easy to dispense possibly a little too easy as I ALWAYS seem to get too much out. The oil itself is clear and easily absorbed into the skin locking in the moisture. I use this on my daughter after a bath. It has a very mild fragrance and absorbs very well into her skin leaving it very soft.

It does leave my daughter's skin lovely and soft and well moisturised but I find it much messier to use than the body lotion, which I prefer as I find it easier to apply.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

GREAT FOR BABY'S, KIDS AND ADULTS

      JOHNSONS BABY OIL

Johnsons baby oil comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pink flip lid, it comes in various sizes, these are 100ml, 200ml, and 500ml.
Johnsons baby oil is avalible to buy from boots, tesco, superdrug, chemists, and even poundland, which is where I normally purchase mine from.
It is made by johnsons and johnsons and the price ranges between £1.00 - £3.00, This is all depending on the size of the bottle and where you purchase it from.
The liquid is clear is colour and quite runny in consistency.

Their are many use for baby oil, you can use it to massage into a baby's soon to help sooth their dry skin, you can use it as a moisturizer for yourself, it is also a great make up remover, especially for waterproof mascara, I find it is also fantastic for use on cradle cap and as a massage oil if you fancy treating your partner.
Another great use for baby oil is to help if your child has nits, if you apply to the head and scalp leave on for 10 minutes, then comb through with a nit comb, it gets out all the nits and eggs, You do have to make sure you wash your hair well afterwards though.

      ***MY OVERALL OPINION***

I always have a bottle of baby oil in my house, I normally get my from my local poundland and the size of the bottle they sell their is a 200ml.
I have used baby oil for as long as i can remember, I used it before I had children, and have used it on all 3 of my children to give them a massage when they were all tiny baby's.
I still like to use this now with my 2 eldest I add a little to their bath once a week, this helps to keep their skin soft, and my youngest I use it on once a week as i massage it into her skin as she suffers with dry skin, but this has helped ease and sooth it a lot.
A bottle lasts a good few months, although you need to be careful if picking it up with greasy hands, especially when the flip lid is open, this I have done once but managed to pick it up quickly.
I would reccommend this for children and adults

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

oh nothing, just the best baby oil ever!

One day last week I was out in my local 99p store doing my usual shopping, when I was hit by the usual the disease that comes over me when in this shop, which is the urge to buy all kinds of toiletries and tit bits that I don't need right now but I know I will use in future! One of the products that jumped at me was a bottle of Johnson's baby oil as I knew I didn't have any at home so into the basket it went!

Of course I am sure most people know that Johnson's are a leading manufacturer of skin care products, with a lot of variety of creams, lotions and potions for all different ranges of skin types and Johnson's baby oil is one of their popular products you just cannot get away from. Out of a lot of different body oils there are in the market at the moment, Johnson's baby oil has stood the test of time as it is ideal for baby skin due to the composition of pure mineral oil which forms a silky barrier to help prevent excess moisture loss.

Occasionally in the past, (and sometimes nowadays still but a lot less often!) I used to use this oil as a massage oil as when my daughter was a few months old I attended a mother-baby massage class and the midwife advised us that massaging baby after a bath relaxes the muscles and helps babies to sleep longer and more contently and it would also help to stimulate babies muscles and strengthen them for development. Oblivious to any of this information before, I took it all on board and used to use this oil to massage my daughter, being very cautious to avoid her developing spine and she thoroughly enjoyed it! Oddly enough, I also found it very therapeutic and enjoyed bonding with my daughter this way, and I can tell she enjoyed being caressed so delicately and feeling loved, so I cannot recommend enough for any new mummies to give it a try!

Often as the case is with oils they can seep everywhere so not much is needed, I literally pour a small drop into the palm of my hand and apply it liberally all over the body (an adult or kids as it can be for people of all ages!) as just a small amount is needed to make an ample difference in moisturising skin to leave it supple and smooth. Obviously this oil is no different, as it is a transparent, runny oil in comparison to others I have used, and comes in a clear bottle with a pink flip top lid to extract the oil through a small hole. Overnight this oil seeps in well to skin to keep it moisturised and the lovely baby scent it carries lingers endlessly most importantly it is great for a baby's sensitive skin due to it's soft and gentle formula.

Over time we tried many different oils, (including a Calendula oil and Rose oil) this was our favourite for our little one as it is clinically proven by dermatologists to protect baby's skin and prevent dryness and is widely available and from a reputable brand such as Johnson's.

Only costing a mere 99p a 300ml bottle is a real bargain and as it lasts so long and has such great properties you really can't go wrong with it! Obtaining a bottle of Johsnon's baby oil is easy as it is really accessible and can be purchased from many high street retailers and supermarkets as well as my local chemist. Overall, I would definitely recommend Johnson's baby oil as it has amazing moisturising properties, leaving skin soft, smooth and well nourished and is great for massaging.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          A goof product

Because of how sensitive a babies skin can be I love to use johnsons baby products as they are very mild and nice and gentle on your babies skin. Although I have to admit I love to use this on my own skin too!

I have the 200ml bottle and it comes in a clear bottle which is very handy as it means you can see how much of the oil you have left! The oil is also clear and then there is a baby pink lid that flips open. The only thing I would say is that when you have used this product a few times the bottle gets slightly oily and so it can become difficult to just flip open the lid, I end up using my teeth most times! Over all though the packaging is very nice and it gives a very gentle look about the product which is exactly what its advertising!

Word of warning when you go to use the oil be very careful as the oil itself is quite thin and so it runs out quite fast! However once you have some in your hand you just massage the oil into your's or your babies skin after a bath or shower while the skin is still wet as Johnson's claim that this helps to lock 10 x more moisture then most moisturisers. The oil has a very mild but baby smell like talc to it which I just love.

I have found the oil leaves the skin feeling very smooth and soft, and leaves you feeling almost silky! After rubbing the oil in I tend to pat me or my baby down with a towel as the oil leaves you feeling a bit oily, however once you do this your skin feels dry but smooth!

I would defiantly recommend using this!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

a good product to moisturize the skin but a bit too oily for me

I love using Johnson's baby products. I like to use them because if they are mild and gentle enough for the babies to use, then they should be mild and gentle to the adults too! Johnson's baby oil is another classic product manufactured by Johnson's which I think many of us have used in the past.

          The package
My bottle of Johnson's baby oil at home is the 200ml one. It comes in a clear plastic bottle and a flip lid on the top. The lid is in the baby pink colour which I think well represents that it is a product targeted at babies. Flipping the lid is easy and you can always open it using one hand. It is good if you are applying the baby oil after bath! I am certain that you don't want to struggle in opening the lid when you just finish your shower!

          Applying the product
Applying the product cannot be easier. You just gently massage the baby oil over your body as you like, in particular over dry skin. For best result, it is recommended that you should apply the baby oil to your skin immediately after shower when your skin is still wet

          The result
The baby oil is very effective in moisturizing the skin, especially for dry and rough patches. It also gives your skin a silky touch. Having said that, I found that the baby oil is a bit too oily for me as I don't like the feeling of the "oiliness" after applying it. There are similar lotion / cream products which product the same moisturizing result and I would prefer using them.

          Alternative use
The baby oil does something more than just moisturizing your skin! In fact, it can be used to remove the blackhead on your nose! To achieve this result, apply a little bit of baby oil over your nose and massage your nose for a few minutes. The blackhead and other dirt will "float" out from the pores during the massaging action. Then use a cotton pad to wipe off the baby oil. You can then note from the cotton pad that the blackheads and dirt have been removed!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Nice oil.

I have lots of grandchildren who take turns to sleep over for a night or for the weekend. Some of them are babies and so I need to buy products that are for their more delicate skins. I buy this baby oil so that I can help soften their skin.

It is housed in a clear plastic bottle with a pink screw off top. There is just the name on the front of the bottle. The oil is a clear oil, it has a slight smell to it but nothing too overpowering. It is a gentle oil and it has a very soft texture to it. It is quite a thin consistency and is quite runny. It is easy to pour from the bottle into the hands and to apply straight onto the baby's skin. I find it is an oil that isn't too oily and for a baby's skin it is just the right consistency to gently massage into the skin.

It does take a while for it to be absorbed into the skin, unlike a body lotion. It takes around half a hour to fully absorb, depending on how much is used on the skin. For the amount I use this time is usually how long it takes. I only use this after the grandchildren have had a bath because of the time it takes to absorb. I use this particularly on the feet, arms and leg areas the most more that the body area. Only a small amount is needed because a little does go a long way. My grandchildren like the way this feels on their skin.

It tells me on the bottle that it locks in 10 times more moisture on the skin. Some of my grandchildren have dry skin and skin that needs moisturising to help keep it nice and soft. This oil works very well to soften the skin to keep it nice and soft. It also softens and moisturises the hands that are applying this oil to the baby's skin and so double the moisturising and for both adult and baby.

After it has fully absorbed into the skin, the skin feels nice and soft, just as a baby's skin should feel. The results are good and it is worth the money and priced around £1 for a 300ml bottle. It is good value for this price and good quality oil.

I sometimes also pour a small amount into the bath water instead of using it for massaging. I use it this way occasionally just for a change and for when I use a baby body lotion instead after the bath.

It is a well known brand that has been around for years. I recommend this highly for anyone who has a baby or young children. It can also be used for adult too, my wife often pours a small amount into her bath water and it helps to keep her skin soft too. It is cheap and for any budget.

After use the bottle can be recycled.

I rate this oil 5 stars.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              -

Johnson's Baby Oil is yet another product that would hint at me having a child if you walked into my bathroom, but like the Sudocrem I previously reviewed, this product is a miracle for babies and adults alike. I seem to be the girl that is always using products for something other than what they are marketed for, but it always works for me. I first discovered how useful Johnson's Baby Oil could be when I ran out of body butter one day and decided to use some of my mum's baby oil - unfortunately, I hated it as a moisturiser but it quickly became a miracle for something else...

Johnson's Baby Oil comes in a very simple, clear plastic bottle with a pink flip top cap. The bottles all vary in size, but are all identical otherwise. The smooth clear plastic looks very plain but it useful for knowing when you may need to purchase another bottle. The flip top cap is of the highest quality I think I've ever come across, most of these type of caps are usually loose and flimsy for easy access but this one is sturdy and secure ensuring that none of the oil will leak if you happen to knock the bottle over. My one issue with the flip top is that it is obviously very hard to open when your hands already have some oil on them due to it being so secure. This is also a problem with the smoothness of the plastic bottle - it's far too smooth and has no grip for when your hands are slightly oily, meaning that you're probably going to drop it at least once!
Note please - my most recent bottle of baby oil is the 100ml travel size and it has a push lock cap like calpol, so I'm unsure if they are changing the lids on all the bottles or if this is just for the travel size. I do find this easier to use with oily hands than the flip top lid.

The labels on both the front and the back of the bottle claim that this product is going to lock in up to 10 times the moisture your skin would have without it, it's for this reason that I initially tried to substitute it when my body butter ran out. I dribbled a little bit into my hand and massaged it into my skin before letting it soak in. I don't know if it's because the skin on my body is already pretty supple and moisturised or if it's just because oil is quite a heavy moisturiser, but it seemed to take forever to soak in and then left an annoying, uncomfortable greasy film all over me. I also noticed that the fake tan I'd applied on my upper body had left some dirty oily marks over my arms since trying to soak in the oil. Here's where the miracle started!
I hopped into the shower to wash off the greasy film and dirty excess oil and whilst it was dribbling down the drain, so did my entire tan! I was furious at the time because it was applied for an event the next day and it meant I'd have to do it all over again, but I'd also found something that would remove fake tan without scrubbing or expensive products.

Since then, I slather a good amount of oil all over my tanned areas when I want to remove it and let it soak for 20-30 minutes (usually dancing naked in my bathroom to keep myself occupied without getting oil on any surfaces - an embarrassing thing when you forget the plumber is coming and your mum knocks on the bathroom door to let him in and you have to beg her for something to cover up with because you're naked and oily!). After I've let the oil do a bit of work on the tan, I hop into the shower and wash it off, leaving me with my natural clean, pale skin. I do use a gentle exfoliating mitt to wash with when doing this because oil is waterproof so it takes a bit of oomph to get it off and it also helps dislodge the tan, but there is no need for scrubbing your skin red raw to remove your bad tan anymore!

Baby Oil is one of the cheapest name brand products out there at only £4.25 for 500ml at Boots. I find this lasts me a good 15 full body tan removals, so it's definitely worth the money! The 100ml travel bottle is available for £1.30 also at Boots.

I'd love to give this product 5 stars as it is a top tan remover, but as it's marketed as a moisturiser, I have to remove a star for the greasy film left over my skin. There is no way that I'd be able to use this is as a moisturiser and then wear clothes or touch anyone without showering first. Kind of defeats the purpose really. I do however fully recommend this for any stubborn tans, say goodbye to your expensive St Tropez tan removal kits!

              Advantages
              --------------
              An amazing tan remover
              Cheap as chips

              Disadvantages
              ------------------
Heavy and greasy - could not be used in the mornings before going about your day

Thanks for reading! All of my reads and rates are currently being saved up for my upcoming trip to New York, so I fully appreciate the time you take to read my reviews.

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

A beautiful baby oil that works for more than just baby

First off let me confess, I don't have a baby and despite having two little nieces who stay over occasionally you could say I don't really have any use for Johnsons Baby Oil. It is a product that I remember of my childhood, growing up as the eldest I would often help my Mum bathe the little ones and then we would rub this baby oil into their soft skin to give some added moisture. The very fact that it has been around for this long means that it must be a real winner however, more recently I have found another use for this oil and that is as a hydrating face mask in the evenings when my skin has taken its fair share of toil throughout the day.

                ==The Product==

In my opinion this product is packaged in a simple yet pure way which clearly shows that this product is for little babies. The bottle though transparent in colour is topped off with a pale pink lid and pale blue and pink text. The bottle is illustrated with the words 'clinically proven mildness' and 'locks in up to 10 times more moisture'. The liquid inside is clear in colour and has a light oily consistency which smells of what can only be described as the light and clean scent which I have found is always associated with Johnsons products and which I must admit to loving partially because of all the memories it conjures up.

The need for this oil with babies is described by Johnsons as being because little ones lose moisture much faster than adult skin and therefore require a protective barrier. It is also a means to create special baby bonding time with the parent as the oil is gently massaged into the skin.

This baby oil comes in a number of different bottle sizes which include 100ml, 200ml, 300ml and 500ml bottles, however I must confess to having only seen the 500ml bottles in store.

This baby oil is hypoallergenic meaning that it minimises the risk of allergies and of course dermatologically tested.

                ==Price and Availability==

I bought a bottle of Johnsons Baby Oil from my local Wilkinsons and paid £3.29 for a 500ml bottle. However, it can currently be bought online for much cheaper at around the £1 - £2.50 mark plus postage and packaging. This oil can usually be found in most large supermarkets and pharmacies and a little goes a long way hence why I believe it to be quite good value for money.

                ==Application==

Initially, the bottle needs to be opened, which in my experience is no easy task given that the lid has a child safety cap which can at times be a little difficult to push down and screw round properly. I agree with the need for a child lock but it can at times prove to be a bit of an adult lock too particularly when you have oily fingers from your first use and want to go back for a top up.

When using this oil on babies it is recommended that this oil is used after bath time by being poured into clean hands, warmed through with your own body heat and then gently massaged into the baby's skin. Doing it in this manner will mean that, in my experience, the babies skin is not left greasy as the oil simply absorbs into the skin. I believe that a capful could also be poured into the bath before washing to hydrate the skin.

When I use this on myself I like to ensure that my skin is clean and dry (preferably after having a bath) and my hair is scraped back from my face. I then simply pour a small amount of liquid onto a cotton wool ball which is ready and waiting and lightly rub over my face. I will often go back for a second dose to ensure that the thinner skin around my eyes is entirely saturated. I then simply leave the oil to do its magic by going and watching the TV for a couple of hours and remove by using a hot flannel and gently pressing it against my skin. It could also be used as a bath time treat for your entire body in the same way as you would for baby, by pouring some into your bath.

                ==Results==

This oil gives my adult skin a boost of moisture which plumps up my skin rather than simply sitting on it in a heavy layer like other moisturising oils and creams on the market. I guess that due to it locking in 'up to 10 times more moisture' it does this to my face hence why my skin is left feeling hydrated and very soft with a clean smell. This product is not harsh or irritating to the skin and can therefore be used after waxing areas on the face as it will not make the skin rash or sting. In addition, I have not had any breakouts or pimples from using this oil and can therefore assume that it doesn't block my pores in the process of moisturising as many adult creams would. I don't think you would want to use this oil in the morning particularly before applying makeup (not unless you want the makeup to slide off that is) however it does work very well as a night treatment before bed.

In the occasional times that I have been able to use this oil on babies it has not only created a great bonding time with the baby but has also left their skin looking even plumper and softer than before (if that's possible with chubby babies) and hence it is an oil that I will definitely go back to when I (hopefully) have my own children someday.

The light and delicate consistency of this baby oil means that it perfectly suits both baby and adult skin in my humble opinion and hence I can recommend it for both purposes.

I am hence scoring this oil five stars out of five for effective moisturising.

                Thanks for reading! x

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

                  I'd definitely recommend this product!

                  Johnson's Baby Oil

I use this product every single day! I apply it straight after a shower to keep my skin nice and soft. Sometimes a put a bit in the bath for extra moisturising (I read it somewhere!) I also use it to remove eye make up, including waterproof mascara (just put a bit on a cotton pad and wipe away). I plan on using it on my baby when she's born, it is meant for babies after all!

                  Advantages:
+ Cheap (it's even cheaper if you buy it from Bodycare or pound shops)
+ It works (keeps skin nice and soft)
+ Does the same job expensive body lotions do but without the messing about.
+ Easy to use (just slap it on after a shower)
+ Multi-purpose (it's meant for babies but adults can use it too)
+ It lasts ages (you don't need to use much of it)

                  Disadvantages:
                  - None!

                  Summary:
I'd definitely recommend this product. It's cheap, easy to use and it works!

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

                  Great stuff!

I use a few drops of this in my bath as it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, so soft in fact that I don't even need body lotion after. This is more than enough to moisturise and soften my dry skin.

I also rub it into my wet skin after coming out of the bath (or shower) as it locks in moisture and it continues to moisturise my skin for hours after use. It can feel a little greasy if you use too much of it, so try your best to use it sparingly. It's cheap so don't worry if you spill any of it (it can come across as a little runny).

I use it to tame my eyebrows and to soothe my skin after plucking and/ or waxing. The oil feels lovely against the skin and the soothing effect is really long lasting. The oil is safe to use on young skin and it's also safe to use on old skin. It's cheap, versatile and a must have!

This oil is widely available to buy and it can be bought in various sized bottles. The bottles are easy to hold in the hand and they're durable too. The oil doesn't seem to leak from the bottle either.

A good all round body oil.

                  Disadvantages

A very disappointing product from Johnson's

I am a huge fan of Johnson's baby products. I literally have a case full of everything for my kids; wipes; shampoos; conditioners... all the Johnson's lotions and potions you can think of. On one of my crazy three for two shopping sprees in trusty old Tesco, I put one of these in my trolley, eagerly anticipating that evening when I could test it out on my baby (I don't get out much!).

I normally use the bedtime routine products by Johnson's on my four month old son, but decided to give him his nightly 'just before bed' massage using this baby oil.

The oil comes out quite quickly, so you have to be careful as it is very, very greasy and your carpets will not thank you for it! I dropped a few splodges onto my carpet and spent an age trying to get it out!
I personally did not like the feel of it. I actually got the distinct impression that I was just rubbing fish 'n' chip shop grease into my son. I didn't particularly like the smell either; it was a bit to sickly sweet and din't smell like a regular Johnson's product. It warmed up in my hands quite quickly; this may be a plus point if you like the feel of the product, but I really didn't.

I found that the oil stayed greasy on my son's skin, so I had to wipe him over with baby wipe after had finished his massage. Hardly the best ending to a warm, relaxing massage.

It took me a while to wash the oil from my skin. My hands kept drying out throughout the evening, so I had to keep washing them.

The next morning I got my son up, and his skin was tinged pink; some places worse than others. he also had a few breakout areas where the product was obviously just too oily for his skin. A four month old with acne? Lovely! His skin seemed sensitive that day, so I had to dress him in loose fitting non- irritating clothes and just generally be very careful. I don't know if my son just had a slight reaction to it, or if it's just that he has sensitive skin, but I certainly won't be using it on him again.

I wouldn't recommend this product; maybe it's good for adults, but I just hated the feel of it.

Quality skin care product at an affordable price

The makers of this excellent product have been around since 1886, and been evolving and adding new products to the Johnsons baby range. Their expertise and their commitment to putting the needs of their customers first can be seen in the high quality products they sell.

Johnsons baby oil is a product that has been around since the first part of the 20th century and has taken up permanent residence in my home. Do not let the name baby oil fool you as this oil is a must for all the family.

I find this products distinct sweet smelling aroma irresistible and the way in which in this product reduces dryness and locks moisture in the skin exquisite.

The products packaging has evolved overtime but the distinct baby pink top and clear see through plastic bottle makes the product easily identifiable.

The product has become more affordable overtime and is also now competively priced and a £1.00 in many stores.

The screw top bottle that Johnson's have recently introduced is clearly a step in the right direction, and adds an element of safety from inquisitive toddler fingers. The previous flip up tops were notorious for spills if the top was not pushed down firmly and easy for a toddler to open as I learnt unwittingly when I found my two mischievous sons glistening from dowsing themselves in this oil.

I highly recommend this product for those wanting smooth soft skin for all the family.
