Almost everyone has heard of the Johnson's brand, their lotion, shampoo, and baby oil being the most famous, as well as this, a lot of people know these products are not just for babies, the lotion alone has been popular with adults and celebrities for a long time. The shampoo has proved almost as popular too, I've used it and been very impressed, but what I'm writing about today is Johnson's baby oil, another great product more people should try.

Johnson's baby oil was recommended to me by a friend. I used to get patches of skin on my arms and legs that would be very dry, this was especially a problem when it came to fake tanning (darker patches of tan on the dry areas - not a good look). This was very frustrating for me, as I've always taken good care of my skin, moisturising every day, yet still the problem persisted. Like I said, I was impressed by Johnson's baby lotion and shampoo, so when a friend suggested using this, I thought it was definitely worth a try.

I bought a 300 ml bottle from my local chemist for £2.49, it is a clear, see through bottle with a pink label and pink flip open top, which makes things easier for you.

After my morning shower I applied the oil to my wet skin, as advised. This was a little tricky at first, as it's hard to pour the oil onto your hands without it slipping through your fingers and spilling, but you get the hang of it after a while. I rubbed the oil into my skin and was surprised to find it was not sticky, and I was able to get dressed almost straight away. I was yet to see if it would improve my dry skin, but I was very happy with the 'glow' it gave me, and the smell was lovely, hard to describe, just a fresh, sweet, clean smell.

I kept up with this routine of applying the oil after my morning shower and only a week later, I did notice the difference, It might sound too good to be true, but there were no more dry patches on my skin, it was soft and smooth. I've used it ever since, and don't plan on changing, I don't want to risk dry skin becoming a problem for me again, I tried all the expensive creams before, and nothing worked as good as this, and the best thing about this is not only does it work, where other products failed, but it's also so cheap!

As well as this, I've also used it for other things too. It's very effective at removing eye make-up, if you put a little on some cotton wool, the make-up will just slide off, it's also great for enhancing a tan, just massage it onto your skin and you will be glowing. You can also use it if you are treating your man to a nice massage. ;o)

Johnson's baby oil is clinically proven to be mild on your skin, it's made for babies, to treat dry skin and cradle cap, so you can be reassured that it's going to be gentle on your skin, and I would say it would be suitable for even the most sensitive types.

You can also buy it in 'camomile', which I've also tried and been equally impressed with. Johnson's baby oil is available in supermarkets, chemists, Boots, Superdrug... almost everywhere really.
