Advantages: Minimal effort, effective
Disadvantages: Bottle not user-friendly, fragrance over-powering
Baby oil is a bathroom staple in my bathroom and the whole family makes use of it.
Johnsons baby oil is not very different from other brands e.g. Tesco, Simple, Lidl etc... However, it is a well known trusted brand and if it is on offer and works out just as cheap as the supermarket's version then I will buy it.
The fragrance is fairly nice but can be sickly if too much is used. The bottle is clear which is useful as it reassures you that the product is clean. One problem with the packaging is that the labels start to peel off when the oil dribbles down the side. If I were to improve the bottle, I would install a non-drip cap, similar to that of an olive oil bottle.
My main use for Johnsons Baby Oil is to put a few drops in the bath, it ensures an even, thin covering of the skin with minimal effort. I have used it on my baby boy's scalp when his head is slightly flaky and it is very effective. If your hair is particularly damaged and dry after bleaching or styling, I have found that a few drops left on your hair for a couple of hours before shampooing helps replenish it.
It is only really good value for money when on offer.
Summary: A good all-rounder.
