For as long as I can remember, despite having no children, Johnson's baby oil has been an integral part of our shopping list. It comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pink lid and the Johnson's logo on the front. It is available in most shops and chemists and seems to have been around for ever, so you are bound to have seen it, if you haven't used it before.

A 500ml bottle costs around £1.65 and you can also buy smaller bottles. We tend to just buy the bigger bottle though, because it all gets used.

Jonhson's, claim that this baby oil locks in up to ten times more moisture on wet skin than an ordinary lotion can on dry skin.

We use this oil in a couple of different ways. the first way is by adding a few drops to a bath. Be very careful when doing this because it does make the bath very slippy, so it would be easy to slide and potentially hurt yourself! It works really well though and when you get out, your skin feels really soft and moisturised.

We also use this as an all over moisturiser (except on our faces) which again is really effective. I have slightly sensitive skin which can also be quite dry. I have found this to be one of the best over the counter solutions and have never had any irritation or problems after using it, just soft moisturised skin. I have been using it for several years now, and no matter what else I try, I keep coming back to this because it is so easy and effective.

Because it is an oil, it glides onto skin and you only need a little as it goes a long way. I have loads of friends with babies and small children and they all swear by this product too. It genuinely is an excellent choice for all the family!

There are cheaper versions on the market, but they always seem a little too thin, or don't smell quite right, so I will be sticking with this one, which I know and trust.
