Whenever I smell this baby powder I see cute babies all clean and cheerful after a bath. The smell of Johnsons baby powder is distinctive I can tell it from other powders.
I am a qualified nursery nurse and have worked with babies and young children for about 35 yrs and have used Johnsons baby powder and found it good. I have used others, as well they were good but Johnsons seem to have just that edge on them. Maybe it is just that my mum used it on me 50 yrs ago and I have some subconscious memory of being all snug and secure as a baby. Johnsons baby powder has been around for more than 100 yrs

This baby powder is a fine white powder made of special grade talc. Have no additives. Johnsons claim it is free from harmful bacteria and does not block skin pores it is a non-irritant. It smoothes easily and smoothly over skin.

This powder feels soft and silky and only a little is needed. It does make babys skin feel good. This talc is ok to use on newborn babies, but not on the freshly cut unhealed umbilical cord. Also do not let babies breath it in. If you should breath it in it will make you cough and splutter. Do close the top after use to stop baby grabbing it.

It is excellent for grown ups with sensitive skin too.

Tesco sells it at 98p for 500g-tesco own baby powder is 94p for the same quantity. I think for the few pennies I would prefer to use Johnsons.
