Advantages: Smells gorgeous, really absorbent :)

Disadvantages: Pricey :(

My Nannan bought me this little bottle of 'Johnson's baby powder' when I recently stayed at hers' as she didn't have any in and I love the stuff!

I have been brought up using talc after baths or showers and to freshen up if I am a bit sweaty after doing the garden for example until I can grab a decent wash when I have finished up...

The little version of the timeless classic used by new mums all over the land was 99p but I think that was a bit expensive given it only contains 100g of talcum powder.

The write up on the back of the famous white bottle with the 'Johnson&Johnson' company name of the front but seeing as it's made in China maybe that's not so surprising?

The only two ingredients is the exceptionally fine talc powder and Parfum which is what gives Johnson's baby powder its gorgeous unique smell.

Its yummy fragrance is the main reason I insisted on this brand, I love how refreshing it smells on my skin and how smooth I feel after applying it all over!

If using on a baby it's usually used as a thin drying barrier on their delicate skin and to protect against nappy rash and to help make them feel lovely and soft after a bath or nappy change.

In us bigger babies it's more about how absorbent it is after a shower or bath! ;)

On using on little ones the advice is to sprinkle onto the hand and then apply to the baby's skin to help them feel smooth.

It is a really lovely product to have in for guests (Nannan!), but I managed to bring mine home where it now lives in my toiletries bag to make sure I have some on my travels next time! This size is prefect for transporting whereas the 200g size is a bit to bulky unless you do use lots of it...

I love this stuff and can totally recommend it; it's so cool - literally - to the skin and makes me feel nice and dry!

Five stars even though a pound is a lot for a little it's worth it because it will last me ages as you only need a little sprinkle as it goes a long way and is really effectively absorbing too :)

Summary: The one for me! ;-p
