Johnson & Johnson is a well known brand which is celebrating 125 years of business. In that time the company has focused on making products that are designed for families. It was in 1894 that Johnson's Baby powder was first released and it's success lead to the companies BABY range being launched. The product was originally designed for use on babies skin to stop rubbing and chaffing, but people have found alternative uses for the product.

The baby power is packaged in a white, smooth bottle with the blue 'Johnson's' logo on the front. The lid is a twisting top with holes that open/close when you turn it. On the back is information, such as ingredients, contact information, directions and other such things.

Once the product lid is opened, you can tip out a fine white powder that resembles flour. You then smooth it over your skin and gently rub in for soft effect. Little talc is needed to go a long way, so the bottle lasts a long time. The talc's smell is lovely and natural, and isn't too heavy. As the powder is designed for babies it is kind of sensitive skin and suits all skin types. Also, for those who are interested the ingredients are TALC and PARFUM. It is recommended that you use this product after a bath or shower in order for the products full effects.

Aside from the products use for smoothing skin, it has many other uses elsewhere, for example, taking the grease out of your hair, as and under layer before you put foundation (or other facial makeup) on, and also, it's good deodorizer for shoes! In addition to this, people have found that the talcum powder can be used to help clean oily spills and stains, and also to refresh the leather on bags/shoes ect.

Johnson's Baby Powder is extremely cheap and can be purchased from supermarkets, pharmacies, and health and beauty product shops. The bottle comes in three different sizes; 100g, 200g and 500g. Prices can vary, but on average the 100g bottle is usually around £1, the 200g bottle £1.50 and the 500g bottle £2.
I would recommend this product to anyone as it is a great buy and can be useful to any household. And at such a cheap price I would defiantly say it is a must have!
