Advantages: Nice smelling, good, traditional product.
Disadvantages: None.
I can remember being a 7 year old child, and getting out of the bath to smother myself in this. And, from previous conversations with my mother, I am pretty sure I've been powdered in this product from birth. Yankee Candle have even brought out a 'Baby Powder' candle that smells of the stuff too, A classic, I'd call it, a traditional product that I will probably be using on my children in the future too.
A clinical, plain white bottle with simple writing on the front, if you were an alien to walk into a drugstore, this product does not stand out from the rest, but is that a problem? For me, absolutely not. They do say that it is never good to judge a book by it's cover, and this product certainly doesn't look anything special from the outside. However, you only have to twist the lid (Although technically you'd probably get told off for doing that in a store), to smell the gorgeous fragrance the powder has.
On Johnsons website, it is suggested that the product should be used to eliminate friction and has a classic, clean scent, which it certainly does. Millions of tiny, slippery plates are within the powder which glide over eachother, helping to reduce friction. Now, personally, I use the product when I get out of the shower, and my skin still feels damp, and in some places, sticky. I use it practically everywhere, bar my hands and feet, and not only do I smell good whilst getting dressed, but feel drier and cleaner.
The bottle can be bought in a 500ml or now, I believe it can also be bought travel sized, although I am not sure what ml that would be. The product is so popular that the prices vary, personally, I purchase mine from bargain stores and the price usually ranges from £1-£2.
The dispenser is a twisty cap with small holes which is very practical and ensures that the talc lasts as long as possible and none is wasted or accidentally poured out in large amounts. Unless rushing, I use this after every shower or bath (Once every other day), and it lasts me about 8 months, making it even better value for money.
If some alien creature was oblivious to the fact this fantastic product existed, I would definitely recommend and recommend endlessly. I am sure it will be a product that is around for generations to come.
Summary: A classic.
