... although this does seem to contradict their pink-dyed lotion. It seems to me that when the people at Johnsons were designing this that they had convenience and simplicity as their top priorities. A pump action top means you can use it one-handed ( a godsend for when bathing or changing nappies!) and it can be used from top to toe as it states meaning less bottles to be fussing over. You can also put it directly into the water which removes the need for bubble bath. The price seems to vary from store to store b...more

Premium Review Johnson's Baby Top To Toe Washing: From the top of their little head down to their tippy toes (354 words)

When I was expecting my first baby, I stocked up on a ridiculous amount of baby products. I read all the mother & baby magazines, researched every product from pushchairs to nappies and by the time I was ready to pop, I had spent a small fortune. When it came to bathing my baby, there was only really ever one product in my mind....Johnsons. I wanted a product that was incredibly mild and gentle and would wash my baby without irritating her skin or stinging her little eyes. Johnsons have always marketed their 'no tears' formula and I had trust in this established, quality brand. I picked up the Johnson's Baby Top to Toe Wash from Tesco's ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review My baby gleams, from top to toe (428 words)

When the midwife in the hospital first taught us how to bath our baby, she used the Johnson's Top to Toe that the hospital provided. We'd already bought different lotions and potions for us to use when we came home, but soon used them up and so bought this, reassured that the midwives in the hospital used it, as well as the 8 of 10 midwives that the advert tell us do. We recently bought a 500ml bottle with a pump from Boots for £2, the normal price being around £2.60. The pump design is brilliant at making bath times a bit easier. It's usually a bit tricky bathing our little one alone as he wriggles so much and so both hands are usually needed to stop him ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Johnson's Baby Top To Toe Washing: No more tears but what about tantrums? Can they solve that!? (737 words)

I first experienced Johnsons Baby Top to Toe wash when I was in hospital in labour with my daughter. I had a bath before and after I had given birth and my only choice of bubble bath was Johnsons Baby Top To Toe Wash. About a month later I went to Tesco and saw a bottle of it on the shelves. I sneekily unscrewed the lid and had a good sniff. The smell was just full of happy and emotional memories of the best and toughest day of my life, I just had to buy it. It is priced at £2.35 for a big 500ml bottle. The bottle lasted ages too - months infact. It's also available in all good supermarkets and baby stores. The bottle is pretty basic ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Down with consumerism! (1368 words)

I hope you're ready for this. This product cannot be beaten as far as I'm concerned. If I could take just one bathroom product to a desert island it would be this one. Why? Because it has multiple uses! So technically choosing that as just one bathroom product is cheating. I discovered you could use it for so many things on another site and really wanted to try it as it seemed like a great way to cut down on consumerism which I hate buying into too much, and also cost as it is only £2.40 a bottle and is often going as part of a buy one get one free deal. I thought if I really could use it for so many different things it was an absolute bargain. I first bought ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Johnson's Baby Top To Toe Washing: Not fit for purpose! (591 words)

When my granddaughter was born a thoughtful friend gave me a gift of Johnson's baby products as she knew I was itching to get hold of the baby and do lots of Nanny things with her. Included was a bottle of something I'd never heard of before, Johnson's Top To Toe Wash which claimed I could use it to wash the baby down without going to all the effort of running her a bath. This seemed like a fantastic product for me as my health prevents me kneeling over the bath with my granddaughter in my arms, unfortunately it's not such a wonder product as it's made out to be. The Johnson's Top To Toe Wash comes in a typical understated Johnson's bottle only has a pump ...  Read the complete review
