I have been using most of the Johnson's Baby products on my little son wince he was born and find it is a well known brand you can trust to be gentle on baby's skin. I normally purchase the Baby Bath or Baby bedtime bath but noticed the 'Top to Toe' Bath on offer in Boots a while ago so trusting Johnson's thought i would try it for a change. the 'Top-to-Toe was £0.99 from Boots at the time for a 500ml bottle, and i believe it is normally priced around the £1.30/£1.40 mark at full price. The bottle has the standard 3 tear drop Johnson's design in yellow on a cream bottle. It has a pump action top also in yellow. The Top to Toe bath is designed to make life easier by giving you one bottle which can be poured in the bath to create a bubble bath or applied direct to babies skin and hair. I find the idea of 1 bottle rather than a bottle of bubble bath, another bottle for shampoo and then soap a great idea, saves time and clears up all the products surrounding my bath!It is also, as with all Johnson's products 'no more tears', Ph skin neutral and Hypo-allergenic. The Top-To-Toe has the same light fragrance as the standard bubble bath which gives you that distinctive clean baby smell. It is a clear liquid and a quite runny. I found that when applied to running water the amount of bubbles it produced was very minimal. This was disappointing as my son loves to play with the bubbles in the bath. When applied to a sponge/flannel it did lather up OK but not as good as the normal Johnson's Baby bath, and therefore didn't feel as effective for cleaning. It also didn't lather up as well on my son's hair, although it did clean it just as well. It is nice to have one bottle to sort out all your babies bath time needs but I do think i'll be returning to the usual baby bath and separate shampoo due to the disappointing bubbles and lack of foam when using.
My grandchildren sleep over at my home on a regular basis. Most weekends I have at least 1 or 2 of the younger ones sleep over and they take turns sleeping over. It gives us a good time with them and give their parents a little rest. I like to buy my own products, so that they are available for when I need to use them if they get messy during their week day visits too and for their bath times at sleep overs. This product is one I bought for only £1.30 for a 50ml bottle. The bottle is plastic with a screw off top. It is a clear liquid, which is a thickish consistency. It isn't runny and pours from the bottle with no problem. It is a nice texture with a mild smell of new born babies. The fragrance is not too strong, I think it is enough of a smell and one that I do like a lot. I just pour a small amount under running water in the bath. Not much is needed to create a good amount of bubbles in the water and enough to wash the baby. The bubbles remain in the water and don't fade out of the water. Nothing worse when bathing a baby or young child and having to keep adding more liquid to keep the bubbles in the water. With this product no top up of the liquid is necessary because it is of a good quality. It cleans the skin really well indeed, when some of my grandchildren are in the bath, the liquid cleans their body and hand and toe nails so that they are nice and clean with the dirt removed completely. It is a gentle liquid and mild enough for sensitive skin. The children haven't had any rashes or irritations since using this product. It has just left their skin cleaned well and leaves the skin really soft and smooth. I also wash their hair with it, just applying a tiny amount to my hand and washing their hair with it, you only need a tiny amount for hair washing and it does wash hair really well indeed. What I do like about this product is the way it rinses quickly from the hair. It means that it doesn't cause discomfort for my grandchildren and the hair is washed in a quick time. So no tears and crying at bath time with this product which does help a lot. Johnson's has been around for many years and produce excellent products. This one is also a good one in their range for babies and young children. I am pleased with the way it cleans their bodies and most of all how it keeps their skin in a good condition and super soft. Once the skin is dried I then apply a body lotion and the 2 work very well together. When my grandchildren splash around in the water playing with their bath toys and any water splashes near their eyes, this one doesn't sting them or irritate them because it is so mild, so they don't cry, which is most important. Nothing worse than a crying child in a bath because a product has hit their eyes and making for an uncomfortable bath time. I recommend this product because I think it cleans well and a nice mild one for small children and babies for their bath time. I will keep buying it in the future. I like it a lot. It is good value for money and the bottle can be recycled. I rate it 5 stars.
I bought a bottle of this when I was pregnant and getting everything prepared for my little bundle of joy. I had seen it in a couple of the baby magazines so thought I would give it a go. I started using the baby wash within a few weeks of bringing my baby home as it says it's suitable from birth. The great thing about this is the smell it is gorgeous! I normally put some in the bath water as bubble bath and then also use it to wash my baby by putting it onto the sponge. It lathers up really well and I found that it was really good on her skin. My little girl seemed to have quite sensitive skin it would often get quite dry and sore looking throughout the day but after she had a bath with this it looked so much better and not sore at all. The baby wash certainly keeps to its word with its 'no more tears' claim I have got it in my little girls eyes quite a few times and it has never made her cry so it cant sting or anything. The bottle I got had a pump on the top which made it really easy to use when you only have one hand left with holding your little one. The bottle seemed to last ages so I certainly got value for money. Overall I would definitely recommend this product it is a great all over baby wash and as you can use it for the hair too it means its one less bottle to have hanging around the bathroom. Every bottle that I've bought has leaked slightly on the way home from the supermarket, so
When you think of baby wash products you instantly think of Johnsons. I remember my mum using their products on me as a child so when I had my daughter naturally I gravitated towards Johnsons baby products. Johnsons top to toe wash is an all over cleaning wash for baby it can be used straight on the skin, as a bubble bath or to wash hair making it an extremely useful as you only need one product rather than several. It is Ph neutral and hypo-allergenic. It comes in a 500ml bottle costing around £2.80. The bottle itself is clear as is the contents. It has a yellow pump action for easy dispensing, which is extremly useful when trying to bath a wriggly little one. It also comes in a travel size 50ml bottle with flip top lid for around £1.20. It is widely available from chemists, supermarkets and other shops. Prices quoted are from the Boots website. I like to keep one in our baby bag just in case as we have had the misfortune to have the odd night in hospital with little lady, and its also very useful if you have an exploding nappy whilst out visiting and baby wipes just wont be enough. The product itself is clear and slightly runny. It dispenses easily from the pump. It is great as a bubble bath, making lots of bubbles which my daughter loves. It is a great body wash and shampoo lathering up beautifully and has that lovely mild and gentle Johnsons baby smell. It leaves my daughter lovely and clean and mildly frangranced. Whether you use this as a bubble bath, shampoo or body wash a little really does go a long way. I now tend to just buy this rather than buying a separate bubble bath for my daughter as this really does make lovely bubbles- equally as good as a straight bubble bath, and the fact it it a body wash and shampoo is well makes it an extremely useful baby product. Highly recommend. It is very mild and gentle but very effective with a mild fragrance. It is very reasonably priced, excellent quality and lasts a long time.
In preparation for the birth of my son, this was among the few toiletries that I purchased. Without question, any baby toiletry has to be Johnson's. After all, they have been around a very long time, so they must know what they are doing. I bought this bottle as it is very easy to dispense with the pumping action. The picture shown is of a 500 ml bottle which sells for around £2.50. The bottle is flattened sideways, so it is narrow and tall, which makes it easy to hold. That is particularly important when you have a squirming infant in the other hand. The bottle is a translucent creamy colour, so you can see the level of shampoo inside and know when to get the next one. The shampoo is a pale yellow colour and has a creamy consistency. It has a mild pleasant smell, and works up a minimal amount of lather. It cleans very well, and more importantly it doesn't dry out my baby's skin. It is quite mild on the skin, and my son hasn't had any reactions or allergies to the shampoo. I dont believe it stings when it goes into the eyes, either. The bottle says that this product is suitable from birth, for top to toe use so that is what I have been doing. I have not bought a separate soap or shampoo. In fact, I still have the very first bottle and inspite of using it every single day for bathing or cleaning his bum or his hands, only about a third has been used up. I would say that is very good value for money. This product works well if you mix into the bath water or apply onto skin directly. I prefer to apply onto his skin as I feel you just end up cleaning the bath the other way. I think this is a very good quality and useful product for a baby.
This is a review of Johnson's Baby Top To Toe Washing, a sort of all in one bathing product for babies. Believe it or not, at 2 + years we are still using all the products people bought us at birth. We got lots of Johnson's products, this being one of them. For the first few months I avoided using toiletries on my baby's skin on the advice of the midwife but we now enjoy bathing and using bubbles and this top to toe bath product. Packaging The packaging receives top marks from me. The best bit is the pump dispenser so you don't end up using too much product. It goes such a long way you don't need to use a lot. The top is accent colour yellow which matches the label and the body of the bottle is frosted but clear so you can see how much product you have left. My bottle is 500ml. In use I always use a soft flannel with this and pump twice to get the right amount. We use the product as a body wash and I start at the neck and ears and then do arms, legs, torso and finish with the bottom before chucking the flannel into the wash so we start with a new one each time. I know people who have flannel systems for face and bums but I find it easier to have a stash of them handy. I don't use the product as a shampoo (although you can do). The claim The product claims to gently cleanse skin and hair and is suitable for first bath with the famous no more tears formula. My thoughts I love this product and will repurchase. It is not highly fragranced and lasts such a long time. It seems to suit my daughter's skin very well and is gentle to use on her body. The pump makes the product last very well and helps to not overuse in the bath. Price A 500ml bottle currently retails for £3.95 in Boots but it is also available from supermarkets so may be worth looking out for special offers. Final word The colour of this body wash is clear and this helps me to believe it is kind to baby's skin. My daughter has never suffered any kind of reaction after using this and has lovely soft skin so I will continue to use it in the future.
Johnson's baby products go back a long way and they were always in our bathroom when I was growing up. I therefore didn't hesitate to stock up on a few products from the Johnson's range before my twins were born, one of which was this baby top to toe bath wash. I was attracted to this product for several reasons - it's suitable for your baby's first bath I only used a very tiny amount on a baby sponge to start with. When they got bigger I started to add a small amount to the water too which just softens it slightly but doesn't create much in the way of bubbles. The product is hypoallergenic and PH neutral which I was pleased about when planning to use it on a newborn's delicate skin. - it cleanses skin and hair It's nice just to have one bottle which I can use to sponge wash them and also to wash their hair, no worrying about making sure I pick up the right bottle! It creates a nice lather when used on a sponge and also for hair washing. Both my little ones have suffered from small dry patches of skin at various times but I control this with a prescription moisturiser whilst still using this in their bath. - no more tears One of my little ones is not a fan of hair wash time and is usually in tears before the water has touched her head. Johnson's famous 'no more tears' formula at least reassures me that should any of the wash get in her eyes that it isn't hurting her as it claims to be as mild as pure water. - the bottle I like that the bottle has a dispenser top allowing me to use it one handed as most bottles have flip tops which I find I need two free hands to open. It comes in a decent 500ml size which has lasted me for months and there is still lots left. The top of the bottle has got a bit messy and sticky at times but it is easy to clean off. Price and availability I bought my Top to Toe wash in Tesco where it is currently £1.67, normal price £2.67. I think this is a great price for a product which has lasted so long. It is also available from Boots and other retailers that sell baby products. Would I recommend? Yes, this is a lovely baby wash which makes my little ones clean and fresh from head to toe.
~ Johnsons Top to Toe Wash ~ Having had four babies my preferred range of baby bath products has always been Johnsons and now is no exception. I use a range of different products for my little one and have numerous different bottles of stuff for him in the bathroom. I do generally use Johnsons Bedtime Bath in the water which I pour into the running water. But as a body wash and shampoo I tend to use the Top to Toe wash. I had used it previously, but when I was in hospital I was given a Bounty pack and inside it was a small sample bottle of the Top to Toe wash and I realised that even though we had bought everything else this was something we were missing! The small bottle looked the same as the larger bottles, it is a cloudy yet see through white plastic bottle with a yellow lid, the lid on the small bottle is a screw top lid but on the larger bottles you will usually find a flip top lid. On the front you will see a sticker with the brand and product name, also it says that it is the No More Tears formula. Opening the lid I could smell the unmistakable scent of Johnsons products which just reminds me of babies! The liquid inside runs out smoothly but lets out just the right amount needed. I generally pour a little onto a sponge and wash my little one over with it and then pour a little into my hands to wash his hair .... Not that he has much! I find that this lathers up nicely and gives him a good clean and leaves him smelling scrumptious! I have at times also poured this into running water and found that it makes a good amount of bubbles and scents the water just right. Using it this way is ideal for when your little one is well, little! Bathing a newborn baby isn't the easiest task in the world as you do really need 2 pairs of hands to do it, even though we were only blessed with one! Pouring it into the water means that you have the gently soaped water ready to rinse your little one down without the need for doing much else. Another great thing about this is that it lasts ages, you really only need to use a small amount so even the sample bottle lasted me a while. I have, of course, bought more since as I really do like this product to use. It has never caused any irritation to my little one, nor my other children, of myself for that matter. I also found it useful to use after I had had a c-section as it was mild and gentle to my sensitive scar area. It wasn't too perfumed and caused me no irritation what so ever. I would recommend this gentle body wash to any mum to be or new parent as it is fab. Thanks for reading :o) x
One of the many free samples I received when I was pregnant with Jayden was a bottle of Johnson's Baby Top to Toe Bath. Whilst Jayden was in the special care unit in hospital he was unable to have a bath due to tubes in his hand and foot for administering antibiotics so when he came home I was keen to put him in the bath so that he could have a proper wash and to wash his hair, also I wanted him to get use to the water. I decided that this product would be ideal to use for his first few baths as I was able to use it all over his body and would not need separate products for his hair. Packaging The Johnson's Baby Top To Toes Bath came in a small plastic creamy coloured, slightly frosted plastic bottle. The front of the bottle has a clear plastic label stuck to it, in the centre of the label is a pale yellow tear drop shape, inside this is written the name of the product in blue and also a statement about what the product can be used for. On the back of the bottle is a pale yellow label, this contains information such as the ingredients, directions for use and also product warnings, all of the information is written in blue writing and is written rather small and could be difficult for some people to read. The plastic bottle which the Top to Toe Wash comes in has a small pale yellow coloured lid, this simply screws on and off of the bottle to reveal the opening where the wash can be poured from, this is quite a large opening, however I did find that the contents of the bottle did pour our slowly meaning that you did not waste any of it and could use the correct amount. The Product Johnson's Baby Top to Toe Bath is basically a wash aimed at babies, it is suitable for newborns and is described as being suitable for a babies first bath. The Top to Toe wash can be used to clean your babies skin and hair meaning that you do not need to have separate products you can just use the one to wash everywhere. The Top to Toe Bath is of a similar consistency to shower gel, although it is a little runnier, it is also clear in colour. This product has a very delicate fragrance and one which to be honest I'm not sure what it is, it reminds me of a very mild and slightly sweeter smelling baby powder, the fragrance is definitely what I would call a baby smell, it is light and delicate so that it is not overpowering on your babies skin yet it still has a clean and fresh fragrance about it and it was one which I particularly liked. Directions for Use The Johnson's Baby Top to Toe Bath can be used in two ways, you can either apply a small amount of the product to you babies skin/ hair or even a baby sponge and wash that way or you can apply a small amount direct to running water. I have used this product in both ways, I have washed Jayden with a baby wash mitt and applied a small amount to the mitt and rubbed it over his skin. However personally I prefer to apply this product direct to the bath water as this makes washing much easier, the product foams up when applied to the running water similar to that of a bubble bath, this means you can wash your babies hair and skin without having to try and apply it to a sponge which isn't easy whilst trying to hold on to a very angry and fidgety baby. Once I have washed over Jayden's hair and skin with this product I simply rinse it off, although it doesn't actually take a lot of rinsing. Price & Availability Johnson's Baby Top to Toe Wash can be purchased in a variety of supermarkets as well as shops such as Boots and Superdrug. I have looked at this product in my local Boots store and discovered that it is available in two sizes including a 50ml bottle for £1.30 and a 500ml bottle which is £3.95, personally I feel that this is quite good value for money, obviously I only had a small bottle of this product which I received as a free sample, however I did find that this lasted extremely well and one small bottle lasted me several baths so I would say that the two sizes available would be worth the money. Warnings The warnings on the back of the bottle are pretty standard for this type of product and include avoiding contact with eyes, should this occur you need to rinse them with clean water. It also warns that there are small parts with this product making it a possible choking hazard, it therefore advises you keep it away from children, My Opinion I have used the Johnson's Baby Top to Toe Wash several times now when I have bathed Jayden, I have used the product in both ways by applying it to a wash mitt and also direct to the bath water, personally I preferred applying it direct to the bath water as it made washing much easier. I have used the product on both Jayden's skin and hair and have found the product to be very mild and gentle, so far he has experienced no problems at all. After using this product I noticed how clean and fresh his hair and skin smelt, the fragrance was not strong and overpowering but was just right for a babies skin. I would definitely say that this product works out at good value for money and has proved to be long lasting. Although the product makes no claims about being suitable for sensitive skin, it is certainly mild and gentle on a babies skin and so far we have experienced no problems with it what so ever. I will certainly be buying this product in the future for Jayden and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
There are many baby bath products available but in my opinion Johnson's products are the best products around that are of an affordable price. One product I use almost daily with my baby is Johnson's baby top-to-toe wash. A standard 500ml bottle costs around £2.67 in most supermarkets and this is what we use for everyday use but there is also a 50ml bottle available for £1.12 which is a really handy travel size. I got my little bottle in a set and keep refilling it from the big bottle. Over the past year I have had quite a few vouchers for Johnson's products and they are also regularly on offer in the supermarkets so it is possible to pick up a real bargain. I didn't use any bath products on my baby until he was one month old as I was worried he might have a reaction but since I started using the top-to-toe wash it hasn't caused any problems with his skin. Although the instructions say you can, I don't add this product to the bath water I simply use it to wash his hair and his body. It is really handy that this product can be used for both. It lathers up really nicely and has that lovely clean baby smell, if that makes sense. On a few occasions it has got into my babies eyes and although he rubs his eyes when this happens, he never cries or gives me the impression that he is uncomfortable so I definitely believe there are "no more tears" with this product, as stated on the bottle. The product washes off easily and it is quick to rinse his hair, brilliant as he is such a fidget in the bath! I have been regularly using this bottle for 9 months now and I am only half way through the bottle so they are very good value for money. After bath time I breast feed my baby before bed and if I have washed his hair I can't resist having a smell of his head, it really does smell amazing. I like the plastic bottle because it is very simple in design and the lid of the bottle has a handy pump which gives a perfect amount in one squirt (the 50ml bottle has a screw top). The colour of the top is a lovely pale yellow which is a colour I would associate with babies. In summary, Johnson's is a well established baby brand that I will always trust and the top-to-toe wash is a particularly good and useful product at an affordable price.
When I was pregnant with my daughter, my sister bought me a Johnson & Johnson set which included different baby bubble baths, soaps, lotions and cotton wool. I have to admit, I'd never actually heard of Baby Top To Toe before this; I'd only ever really heard of the regular blue Baby Bath, Shampoo and the Baby Lotion and Oil. The Top To Toe Wash comes in a pale yellow 500ml bottle and has a bright yellow plastic pump dispenser on top (unlike other Johnson's products, which have a flip lid). The bottle has the familiar red teardrop with 'no more tears' written on it and also declares that it's suitable for baby's first bath. The first few times we bathed our daughter we didn't use any soaps as we'd been advised to use plain water at first then introduce a gentle baby bath, so when she was about ten days old we pumped one pump of the wash into the running water. Now, one pump is probably a teaspoon full, and as this is a 500ml bottle, it will last you for a long time, as one pump is more than enough for a baby size bath. The water foams up nicely, but it isn't as creamy a foam as with standard baby bath - this is a slightly thinner foam and the bubbles are lost quicker too. I wouldn't say the wash smelled particularly strongly - with other Johnson's products, there is a very identifiable smell but other than a light soapy smell there isn't much to the Top To Toe Wash. Of course one of the first things my daughter did was scoop up a big handful of bubbles and stick her hand in her mouth before we could stop her - luckily the bubbles don't seem to be foul tasting as it didn't bother her in the slightest! And I can vouch for it's no more tears being effective too as she's splashed it in her eyes and face and it hasn't caused any irritation at all. Overall though I can't say that I'd buy this product again.. not because it isn't great at what it does but because I really don't see the need for it myself. If I bath my daughter in the daytime, she has a bath in regular Johnson's Baby Bath - the reason for this is that I can buy a 300ml bottle in Poundland, as opposed to £2.85 for 500ml of Top To Toe. Meaning I could get 900ml of Baby Bath for the same price. I bathe her in the evening as part of her routine with Johnson's Baby Bedtime Bath which I've already reviewed and I love, it smells nice and gives smooth bubbles. As for it's selling point being that you can use it from top to toe.. well my daughter is three months old and has hardly any hair really - and it gets a quick sponge down with the rest of her in her usual Baby Bath or Bedtime Bath with no ill effects. Whilst I think the Top To Toe is good I feel that if you use any of the other Johnson's Bath products that you don't really need to shell out on another product. The pump dispenser is handy, and clean, and if you're not into really bubbly bubbles this might suit you and baby better. But given the price vs what I can get Baby Bath for, it's not something that I'll look to replace once my current bottle runs out. Overall I'd say if you are expecting a baby then just get the regular Baby or Bedtime Bath, as every penny counts.
I received a small bottle of this in my bounty pack and there was also some in one of the Johnsons toiletry boxes that I received as a gift before my baby was born. I have extremely sensitive skin and so always worry that my baby is going to react to new things when I try them. I had been told that Johnsons products would be too perfumed for a new baby and so i proceeded with caution again, however there was no need with this product. It does have a scent but it really is fairly mild although lovely and fresh smelling. The main benefit though is that it doubles as baby bath and as a washing product cutting down on the number of products you need which any mum will know is a bonus! (actually my sisters baby doesnt have much hair and so she also uses this as shampoo!!). I would say this is an absolute baby essential and is really inexpensive at around £3.00 for a big bottle most places.
When I had my baby, I received a lot of baby toiletries as gifts. The brand that most people had opted for was Johnson's - as probably the most well known and trusted maker of baby toiletries. I received a couple of bottles of this baby top-to-toe wash and there was also a small trial size bottle of the product in my bounty pack that I received in hospital after giving birth. Advised by the midwife to just bath baby using water for the first few weeks as this is all that his delicate skin required, I have only been using this for a month or so. However, I note from the bottle that Johnson's state that this is suitable for use from the first bath so if this is your preference, you can use this immediately. The wash is, as suggested by it's name, suitable for use from top to toe - hair and skin alike. I tend to use baby shampoo on my baby's hair so cannot review the effectiveness of the product as a shampoo. However, I think this is a great feature to have if you are going away as you can just take a bottle of this rather than various bottles of products for your baby's bath. The wash comes in a clear plastic bottle, I believe it comes in various sizes but I have bittles of 500ml which have a push pump for easy dispensing of the wash - handy when you are supporting baby in the bath and have just one hand free. It can be used as a wash and applied to the baby's skin with a sponge or wash mitt. Alternatively, it can be applied to the bath directly whilst running the water to provide a light foam. The wash is a clear pale yellow in appearance and quite thick in consistency - almost gel like. It smells fresh but not scented - much like the all Johnson's baby products. The wash does not foam especially well when you apply to baby's skin but it does feel like it is giving a good wash none-the-less. I tend to use a fair bit of product per wash, which is probably due to it not foaming especially well. Baby is always left clean after washing in this and his skin feels soft, so it's not drying at all and it doesn't irritate his delicate skin either. I would definitely recommend this wash for washing baby's skin & I will be purchasing another bottle once my supplies have run out.
I was given a sample of this in my Bounty pack while I was at hospital, I also noticed that the hospital used this when they bathed my daughter. I have also since bought this from Asda where you can get a 500ml bottle for around £3. The wash itself comes in a see through bottle with a yellow lid. It is described as being as gentle as water and is suitable for use from birth. It also has Johnsons no more tears formula and is alcohol and paraben free. The ingredients are listed as; Aqua, Coco-Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Citric Acid, Acrtlates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Chloride, Glyceryl Oleate, p-Anisic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Parfum. You can use this in several ways, you can add it to running water to create bubbles, you can use a small amount to lather and wash your baby's hair or you can add it to a sponge and use as an all over wash. I normally use this just as a bubble bath and use the bubbles to wash my daughter as she is only little and I don't like using lots of products. When you add to running water you get a decent amount of bubbles it has a slight fragrance which reminded me of Johnson's baby shampoo. When I did give apply a small amount of this to a sponge I got a decent lather and only needed a tiny amount to wash my daughter. After using this my daughters skin felt soft. I haven't noticed any irritation and it makes her hair soft too. Even though she is only a few weeks old she was born with a huge mop of dark hair and I have to wash it every few days. I would recommend this to all new parents, it is a good product that does three things in one so it also saves space in your bathroom. It is gentle on skin too and as you only need a small amount it will last for weeks possibly months.
When I was in hospital after having my little one I received my new mum pack and inside was a 50ml bottle of this from Johnsons. Had it not been in the pack I don't think I would of gone out and bought this product specifically but always keen to try a freebie, when my daughter was six weeks old we tried it and have been using it ever since. Bath time- really no more tears for Mummy and baby?! The bottle is pale yellow in colour branding the name Johnsons that I can remember my Mum using some of the products on me when I was little. I remember that 'getting soap/shampoo in your eyes feeling' (yes they're watering as I type!!) and really did not want that for my daughter so was intrigued to discover whether this 'no more tears' claim really was accurate- I was obviously hoping for 'no more tears' for not only my daughter but also mummy.... If the claim isn't true and she gets soap in her eyes I'll be crying too. I would fill the bath using two or three squirts of the very easy to operate bottle (500ml) with pump action nozzle- you can do it one handed which is a real bonus for fidgety babies. The top-to-toe bath foams up well so no more than three squirts are needed in a baby bath. The fragrance is mild but pleasant; unfortunately I can't really describe what it smells like, as we have been using it for so long that now every time I smell it- it smells like my daughter. I'm sure many parents will understand what I mean!! The product lathers up really nicely and can be used to clean skin and hair, so less bottles and more hands free to supervise the fun which is a real bonus. From a very early age my daughter has always loved the bath, it's her time to kick, splash and play before bedtime so to suggest she is a wiggler is an understatement. With all this wiggling the bubbles would make their way up towards her head at the top of the bath and inevitably no matter how careful you are she would occasionally turn her head to the side and get an eye covered in bubbles. The result and reaction from my daughter- a big smile and ABSOLUTELY NO TEARS or upset whatsoever (hurrah!!). It is true this product really is no more tears!!! Price. For a 500ml bottle the price is around £3. Again I like to purchase the product when I see it on special offers as £3 is fairly pricey. However a 500ml bottle probably lasts about six to eight weeks and we bath my daughter everyday which is pretty good going. Overall. A lovely safe product to use which really means 'no more tears!'
