Advantages: Pump action bottle, really creamy lather
Disadvantages: None, it is fabulous!
I bought this while I was pregnant as it was on offer in Asda for £2 for a 500ml bottle. It has a lovely soft fragrance and makes the most fantastic creamy lather. It feels moisturising even just lathering it up in your hands before washing baby.
It comes in a white bottle with a yellow pump-action top and the writing on the front is in blue.
I used it when my son was just one day old, when he first came home from the hospital. I know it is recommended to use nothing but pure water but his skin was so dry and peeling and it says it is suitable from birth. What a difference it made! I am not exaggerating, after just one bath washing gently with this I noticed a difference in his skin - it was not as flaky and it felt much smoother. A combination of this and Johnsons Baby Oil had his skin completely smooth and cleared up within days. I could not recommend it highly enough.
We use more of this than any other bath product because I like to use enough to make a lovely creamy later all over his body, but a bottle still lasts us a couple of months.
The pump action top makes it even easier to use while supporting baby with one arm when they are younger which is essential - it is very difficult to do bathtime alone otherwise. The only problem with this is you end up either wasting quite a bit or having to unscrew the whole top and standing it upside down to get the last 3-4 cms of product out of the bottom.
I even use this on my son's face and it is mild enough for this. It does not even bother him if I accidentally get some in his eyes. It is a fantastic product and I will be getting well stocked up for number 2 as well!
Summary: Can be used all over your baby and it is so soft and creamy you will want to use it on yourself too!
