Advantages: Fresh smell, value for money, non-drying

Disadvantages: Too gentle for its indended purpose

I first used this product a few years ago when my children were babies. I bought it a few times, as during those first few months when my salary might aswell have been paid directly to Pampers, I felt it was great value for money. Its a big bottle and as it cleans 'top-to-toe', there was no need to buy separate shampoo and body wash. It also has a pump dispenser which is essential when you are wrestling a screaming and slippery 3 month old around the bath. It is very gentle on the skin but as a shampoo I did feel it lacked a little oomph as it doesnt lather up all that well. I stopped using this as the children got older though as I felt it was so gentle that I wasnt confident it was doing its job properly, and while gentle really is its middle name, it just wasnt moisturising enough and patches of dry skin began to return behind their knees.
This product however has again found its way back onto my bathroom shelf and I dont think I'll ever be without it again. I suffer from very sensitive facial skin and rosacea (the only day of the year I feel normal is Red Nose Day) and have been hunting for a cleanser for years that doesnt result in me looking like an angry Krusty the Clown for an hour after Ive used it. I wandered into the baby product aisle because quite frankly I am bored with being ripped off by cleansers aimed at women which carry inflated price tags for no apparant reason.
This claims to be as mild to the skin as water and I truly believe that - its non-drying, has a lovely fresh lemony scent and lasts me forever at a bargain price of £2.79! My skin feels soft and more importantly for me, calm
after being washed. If Johnson's packed this in a bottle a third of the size, doubled the price tag and marketed it as a gentle cleanser for women I reckon it would fly off the shelves.

Summary: A great find as a cleanser but wont use on my children
