When the midwife in the hospital first taught us how to bath our baby, she used the Johnson's Top to Toe that the hospital provided. We'd already bought different lotions and potions for us to use when we came home, but soon used them up and so bought this, reassured that the midwives in the hospital used it, as well as the 8 of 10 midwives that the advert tell us do.

We recently bought a 500ml bottle with a pump from Boots for £2, the normal price being around £2.60. The pump design is brilliant at making bath times a bit easier. It's usually a bit tricky bathing our little one alone as he wriggles so much and so both hands are usually needed to stop him from trying to escape, which makes opening and squeezing out other body washes a bit of a challenge. With this pump however, you can quickly use your hand to squirt it straight onto the body, or do what I have been known to do use your elbow or chin if you just don't have any free hands.

The wash itself is clear and lathes up easily with water with just a small amount going quite a long way. The smell is lovely, not too overpowering but still really long lasting. We bath our little one just before bed and in the morning he still smells fresh and lovely. As with the majority of Johnson's products, it has the "no tears" logo which is really reassuring when bath times become a bit of a drench-fest with water and baby wash everywhere.

I really love that this wash can be used anywhere. It can be used a shampoo, body wash, face wash...wherever you want it. It cleans his hair leaving it lovely and soft and even cleans dried on food from wherever he has decided to splatter it. It's effective in cleaning but also gentle on my baby's delicate skin; I have never had a problem with any Johnson's products causing any irritation at all. Johnson's claim that it is as mild to use as water whilst being hypoallergic and pH balanced - claims that I cannot argue with in the slightest.

I'd completely recommend this body wash for little ones. The pure simplicity of just needing one bottle for so many uses, saves money and space in the bathroom. Huge thumbs up from me.
