Advantages: smells lovely, may help babies sleep better, often on offer

I was given a bottle of this before my sons were born and after vowing to use only water on them until they were 6 weeks old, I gave in after the sleep deprivation hit me and decided to implement a bedtime routine (think of the Johnson's bedtime advert!). I started to use this in their bath every night.

The instructions on the bottle are to pour this into running water, but I wanted to avoid the bubbles whilst my children were very young so I put it in after I've filled their bath and just swirl it around. It smells lovely and certainly relaxes me! The boys relax immediately in their bath and are beginning to sleep better, but whether this is down to the miracle bath product or them getting older I really don't know!

This product is certainly gentle- I wash the boys faces with water containing it and it doens't hurt their eyes.

This range can often be found on offer in Sainsburys and other supermarkets- there is also a baby oil that goes with it.

Whether it really works to help them sleep or not, I'll carry on using it, for my sake as much as theirs, just in case!
