Johnson's Bedtime Bath
Advantages: Smells nice; Very cleansing
I started using Johnsons Bedtime Bath because my mum brought loads of bottles of it while she was pregnant with my 2 year old sister but my sister ended up being allergic to something in it. She buys a lot in bulk so ended up with about 10 bottles of this bubble bath and no-one to use it..... except me, I never refuse a new bottle of something to use in the bathroom and this smelled GORGEOUS so I thought I'd like it.
It's another version of Johnsons Baby Bath and has got a faint lavender smell, this Bedtime version is supposed to help babies sleep better after their bath and the idea is that you give them their bath just before bedtime and let the smelly steam do the business.... hopefully giving you a good nights sleep!
It does smell lovely, I'm not much into lavender smells but this one is dead pretty. It's quite a faint lavender smell and under it you can still get a strong whiff of the traditional Johnsons smell, it doesn't smell as babyish as a lot of the other Johnsons products but is still proper nice in its own way.
You don't get a HUGE amount of bubbles off this bubble bath, I'm used to using Lush bubble bars and stuff like that so was a bit disappointed when I added a big squirt to the bath water and only got a thin layer of bubbles. That's because it's for babies I reckon because you don't want to end up losing your newborn under masses of bubbles!
I think it's very cleansing and my skin felt good when I got out of the bath, the faint lavender smell stuck to my skin for a bit but not for very long and that was fine with me. For myself I wouldn't say that I slept any better but like my mum said the lavender probably isn't strong enough to relax an adult too much but she said her mate swears by it for getting her hyperactive 6 month old off to sleep.
I deffo recommend this bubble bath for babies AND adults, it's quite expensive and a 500ml bottle will cost about £3.00. You wouldn't need all that much in a baby's bath though so a bottle would last for ages, like all Johnsons products. If you're an adult and using it then it probably won't be worth it because if you like plenty of bubbles like me then you'll end up having to use too much for each bath and the bottle would go down quick then.
