Advantages: Lovely smelling lotion that absorbs easily

Disadvantages: Im not sure where the Lavender & Camomile is.

I was given a selection of Johnson's bedtime products by a friend when my baby was born. She had used them when her little girl was born and loved them. The bedtime lotion comes in a white plastic bottle with a pale purple lid. The label has the Johnson & Johnson logo and the claim on the front that it is proven to help your baby sleep better. The 300ml bottle is priced at £2.53, but I have often seen it in 3 for 2 promotions with the rest of the Johnson's range

I should really start by saying that with the exception of a few nights I have never had any difficulties getting my 5.5 month old to sleep. With this in mind I cant say if it helps baby's to sleep as the bottle claims. Johnson's have a website which gives advice on helping baby's to sleep using their bedtime range.

One of my friends swears by this method for getting her baby to sleep and more importantly keeping her asleep through the night. My baby seems to choose his bedtime when he is ready, he will sleep wherever he is and not wake till 9am, even when I move him to his bed. Johnson's recommend, bath, massage then sleep. The website has some really good advice and is worth a look.

When you search for this product on the boots website it advertises the bedtime range as "Johnson & Johnson Bedtime Lotion Lavender & Camomile" The actual product does not say Lavender & Camomile anywhere on the bottle, instead they just print NaturalCalm aromas.

The lotion has a gentle aroma and the perfume is very mild, I can only describe it as that new baby smell that makes most adult women think back to their new baby and smile.

I massage this onto my baby most days and have only needed 2 bottles since he was born. I always start by warming the lotion between my hands, my baby's favourite bit is when I put him on his tummy and massage his back, bottom and legs. The lotion is easily absorbed and doesn't leave him sticky as some moisturisers do.

The bottle states that this product is suitable for sensitive skin. My baby has some dry patches and the lotion hasn't caused any problems with his skin. My hands always feel lovely and soft after using this lotion and my son loves his daily massage.

Summary: Gentle lotion, with a soft aroma
