It's statement on the bottle is that it is milder than any other baby soap. I have to say, I would agree with this statement. It was so easy to use. Just a little squirt on wet baby (poor Holly), a little rub, and you had a lovely creamy lather that rinsed of with ease. It can also be used a a shampoo which I did. I would have to give it top marks for convenience. It was much easier than bathing using seperate soap and shampoo, and being a new Mum, I still don't seem to have the knack of keeping the soap out of the eyes whilst holding a slippery baby yet, so from experience, I can promise you it does have the Johnsons "no tears formula"
It did not leave her skin dry at all, but lovely, soft and clean smelling.
There were a few minor disadvantages however that I would like to share with you. I had actually rubbed baby oil on her head to get rid of a bit of cradle cap. The problem I had with this was that it was SO mild, it did not manage to wash all the oil out of her hair. So on these occasions, I would probably still wash her hair with shampoo. The other little thing was the smell. One of the main reasons I buy Johnsons is because of how nice it smells, although you could catch a familiar whiff, it was not really the smell of the other products in the range, I am assuming because it is a very mild product. However, it was pleasant all the same and left her smelling really "cleaned".
I would definatly continue using it as it does not dry her skin at all, which soaps have done in the past, and it is really quick and easy to use which gives you more time for playing.
