Advantages: Nice smelling cream

Disadvantages: None for us

As you may see from a previous review I have been using Sudocrem on Jayden when I have been changing his nappy, but when the pot I was using ran out instead of starting the new pot I had I decided to give another nappy cream a try. I had received a sample of Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream which my Dad had sent for for me so I thought I would give this a try to see if it was any good, I have tried several Johnson products on Jayden and have been pleased with the results so I was hoping that this was going to be the same.

Packaging
The Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream comes in a small squeezy tube made from a white soft plastic, it has a large pale blue tear shape on the front of it with the words "Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream" written inside it in dark blue writing, there is also a sentence about the cream just underneath it and further information just above the name in a red circle. The only information on the front of the tube is the Johnson's and Johnson's name and the size of the tube. The product information is on the back of the tube written in blue which clearly stands out on the white background, this includes a statement about the cream, the ingredients and directions for use. The tube has a small pale blue plastic lid which simply screws on and off of the tube, this also doubles up as the base of the tube allowing you to stand it up, the cream is squeezed out of a small hole in the end of the tube, the size of the tube means that you cannot squeeze too much cream out of the tube at once.

The Nappy Cream
Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream is basically a white coloured cream, it is of quite a thick consistency which again helps with not wasting too much. I particularly like the fragrance of this nappy cream, it doesn't have a clinical smell to it but has a sweet light floral fragrance, personally I think it has a hint of Johnson's Baby Lotion to it as well, it is definitely what I would call a fragrance suitable for a baby, it is not strong and overpowering but light and delicate. Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream is said to provide immediate comfort from nappy rash from the first use and has been trusted by mums for over 100 years, this particular cream like other nappy creams heals and sooths sore skin caused by nappy rash as well as preventing it occurring.

Directions for Use
Using Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream is very easy you simply clean your baby's skin and allow to dry then apply a thin layer of cream, it is recommended this is done during every nappy change, which personally I do regardless of what nappy cream I am using.

Price and Availability
As I have mentioned I received my Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream as a free sample and it was a 16.5g tube, however I have done a bit of research and this product is available from supermarkets and chemists such as Boots and Superdrug. The price does vary a little depending on where you purchase it from, you can buy a 110g tube from Boots for £3.30, personally I feel this is a fair price for this product especially as it is so long lasting, a little bit goes a long way.

My Opinion
I would definitely recommend Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream, I use this every time I change Jayden's nappy, he hasn't had nappy rash since he was in hospital but sometimes his skin does get a little bit red but after applying this cream his skin is soothed and the redness disappears. I love the smell of this cream and it doesn't have a chemical fragrance to it at all, the cream is gentle on Jayden's skin although it doesn't make any promises to be suitable for sensitive skin on the packaging. The cream is sold for a good price and is very long a lasting you only need a small amount at a time making it very good value for money. I would definitely purchase this cream again in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: A nice cream that suits my baby
