The Johnson's cream is quite thick, and feels rich to the touch. I have found that it spreads around the skin very easily, and you can squeeze it out of the tube without any problems. It is also a good size to take out and about in the changing bag. The information on the tube states that the cream is clinically proven for mildness, and has been specially developed t...more

When I had my second child Chloe. I decided to try Johnsons nappy cream. A. Because it was Johnsons and we are lead to beleive that it is the best product for our little cherubs B. Because I had had so much trouble with my first child getting nappy rash I thought if this was new then maybe it was better than anything else around. I WAS WRONG. It was greasy and was a bit like a moisturiser. Good I suppose for sensitive bums but not good for nappy rash. My daughter got some of the worst bum rashes whilst I was using this cream. Once so bad in the matter of two nappy changes I took her to the doctors as it was bleeding. I ...  Read the complete review

My second daughter had the most sensitive skin on her bottom, even using gentle wipes would cause horrendous nappy rash for the first 5 months. We only used cotton wool and water to cleanse her, but despite this, and avoiding nappies with lotion in, she still got rashes very frequently. I found there were two creams that worked for us. Johnsons nappy cream was great for early stage rashes, if caught early, the rash would go away within 24 hours. I would definitely recommend having a tube of this cream in your changing bag as it really does nip it in the bud. For more serious nappy rash, especially if the skin has got so raw that it's bleeding, the only thing ...  Read the complete review

When I was pregnant, I brought some Johnsons nappy cream from Boots on a buy one get one free. I really wish I haddent now. 1 year on and I've still got one tub unopened, and the other tub, is in the change box, and only sees the light of day if I have run out of sudocrem! The reason I don't like it, is because it seems very greasy? when you put it on, it justs moves around on your finder and it does not go on evenly. Sudocrem is great, its cold and soothing and goes on no problem. Johnsons is gloopy and messy. the only thing I did like about it was the price for the size of the tub, but I'm glad it did not cost me too much as I just don't use ...  Read the complete review

I got a tube of Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream recently when out shopping in Sainsbury's. I can't remember the exact price, but I think that it was just over £2.00. It comes in a tube with a handy flip top, that is easy to use with one hand. The amount in it is 110g. I usually buy Tesco's nappy cream or a Boots own one, and have found them to be very good. My daughter is almost eighteen months old, and has been lucky not to have had any bad nappy rash, and we have used a wide variety of creams since she was born. After recieving a zillion free samples of Johnsons nappy cream during pregnancy, i had enough to last me the first few months of nappy changing. Luckily my daughter didn't have many outbreaks of nappy rash so it wasn't much of a problem. However i do feel that if she had suffered with it, the cream would not have been much use. The small outbreaks she did have took days to clear up with the cream and sometimes remained red for a few days after that! I thought maybe that was normal until i discovered Sudocrem. One application and within hours the redness has gone. Two days maximum and there is no sign of there ever being a rash at all. Maybe different skins react ...  Read the complete review
