... pack, they are rectangular shape, very strong and quite thick. They also have little grooves in the wipe which is great as this helps getting the poo of your babies bum! (Just telling you like it is) They smell quite strong I feel compared to other wipes I have used. It is not a bad smell, quite fresh water spell combined with the smell of the Johnsons baby lotion. I also find these wipes are wetter then Huggies. And especially near the end of the pack they can make your babies bum really wet after wiping, maybe this is...more

Crowned Review Johnson's Wipes: Best for baby, best for you? (615 words)
by - written on 21/02/02 (Very useful, 210 readings)
Rating:

A gentle whiff pervades the air. Screams echo in your ears and you know it is time. You can put it off no longer. It is time to change his nappy. So urgently you think of something that is very important to do, but urgently having to write an opinion on Dooyoo cuts no ice with your missus. Your boy is not impressed either so you steel yourself. You lay him down and undo his babygrow and peel back his nappy. God it is carnage in there. Green smelly smear seems to have pervaded every crevice, The smell is rank. On top of it all, the boy wonder squeals with pure delight as his nappy is taken off and he is free to kick to his hearts content. Oh no, too late you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bright Red Babys Bum (303 words)

Johnsons are a well known brand and commonly known to be a leader in baby products but I need to say I was left dissappointed. I have a little baby and recieved a pack of wipes in the Bounty gift pack, which I was happy about knowing the reputation of Johnson. I started using them on baby and quickly her bottom turned red and sore and I had to stop using them and return back to water and cotton wool. I know they are meant to be very good but after reading the ingredients I found out they were highly perfumed and really not that great with sensitive baby skin. I decided to give them one more go and bought a pack of the sensitive wipes but in actual ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Johnson's Wipes: so gentle (398 words)

Having had kids of my own and now with grandchildren I have always stuck to Johnsons wipes. Johnsons are reputable company for most of their products which tend to be aimed at babies and toddlers. They sell many things including their wipes obviously, creams and lotions, baby bubble baths and even body washes for babies. Their aim is to be gentle for babies which is why I think I've always stuck to Johnsons. Even the packets they come in are gentle and pure looking in a pale baby pink with a baby on the top of the packet. To get into the packet you need to peel back the sticky tape but not peel it completely off as this then sticks back down to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review good quality wipes (223 words)

I buy joihnsons baby wipes on a regular basis and am a big fan of most of them they are really good value for money and it is a well known brand of baby product which i definatel trust. they cost around £2.60 for a packet however they are usually on offer where you buy one and get one free which is brilliant. the best wipes in my opinion are the sensitive wipes and the original ones. one pack of baby wipes from johnsons that i am not at all fond off is the skincare wipes with added protection. this is because when you are using them they get really soapy which in my opinion is just quite messy. All the johnsons products are good without ...  Read the complete review

Having two young babies i go through god knows how many wipes a week (id be scared to count) i always like to try out the different ones on the market and also love to get a bargain whenever i can....When it was last baby week in sainsburys when they do all the wipes half price i bought some of these.Being johnsons i thought they would be excellent as they are one of the leading brands in baby toiletries... This i found was not the case. The packs contain 64 wipes and are priced at around £2.49 per pack sometimes slightly dearer in different retailers. The pack has just got a sticky tab on the top which doesnt seem to hold its stick very well meaning that the ...  Read the complete review
