Advantages: Cleans really well, nice smell, bogof offers

Disadvantages: Son's skin reacted to them after couple months of use

I bought loads of Johnson's wipes when I was pregnant to get them ready for when I had my little boy. They are quite pricey compared to the supermarket own brands (£2.50 ish) but they are quite often on buy one get one free. Also the big 4 pack of wipes is a bit better value. After spending far too long choosing which to try my husband suggested get one of all the varieties (sensitive etc.) and go from there. Good idea!

After my son was born I opted for the sensitive variety because it had less smell and seemed to have less ingredients. They were great, made easy work of sticky situations and explosive breast fed poo. Unlike other varieties I found it easy to pull out just one rather than one long mess of stuck together wipes.

But all good things come to an end my son started having a reaction to them where his behind would go bright red although I had poured boiling water on it. I stopped using them and went back to the pain in the neck cotton wool and water. We haven't been able to use them since and I am still trying to find a brand of wipes to use when we are out and about, they all seem to have the same huge list of ingredients - the search goes on!

Summary: A great wipe, disappointed that had to change from them

Why not try washable wash my daughter did on her babe with sensative bum when you go out you can always prewet and store in a plastic food bag or plastic pot. I cant remember which my daughter used but look at and search washable reusable wipes on the web http://www.babycottonbott oms.com/wipes.htm
