Advantages: they are gentle to babies bums
Disadvantages: perhaps the price
Having had kids of my own and now with grandchildren I have always stuck to Johnsons wipes.
Johnsons are reputable company for most of their products which tend to be aimed at babies and toddlers. They sell many things including their wipes obviously, creams and lotions, baby bubble baths and even body washes for babies.
Their aim is to be gentle for babies which is why I think I've always stuck to Johnsons. Even the packets they come in are gentle and pure looking in a pale baby pink with a baby on the top of the packet. To get into the packet you need to peel back the sticky tape but not peel it completely off as this then sticks back down to maintain the freshness of the wipes. However if this sticky tab does get dirty underneath it loses it's stickiness and doesn't keep the top few wipes fresh and they lose their moistness and become dry and useless.
The wipes themselves are quite thick, which I expected from a well known and respected brand. They are not too dry and not too wet either as I've found out with other wipes my daughters bought. She does not mind most brands of wipes but I havn't been impressed they don't live up to Johnson's standards I don't think.
The wipes hold enough moisture to wipe any messes yet not leave your babys bum too wet which can often be uncomfortable in a babies nappy and sometimes lead to nappy rash.
These I find are so gentle they do not hurt my grandsons bums if they do have a nappy rash due to teething, they are often nervous to have their bums wiped if they are suffering with nappy rash but when I use these I can feel their bodies loosen up and relaxing as they do not hurt them a bit.
They have a clean and fresh scent .. smells just like a freshly cleaned baby so innocently pure. It is not an overpowering scent it is just right.
You can buy these in supermarkets and places such as Boots or Superdrug, sometimes in multipackets or on their own for roughly £2.44 or more, more often than not they are on offer buy one get one free so a perfect time to stock up.
Summary: lovely wipes
