Advantages: quite good
Disadvantages: Pricey pricey pricey
Myself and my partner used to buy johnsons baby wipes when our little girl was born because it was a named brand and we thought that we could trust them which we could. The only problem is they are so pricey and just to wipe the little ones bum it's far to much. Yes they are great smelling not that they have to be and they are very absorbant and come in nice little packets but you certainly are paying for that. I now buy Tesco's own brand and i could swear blind i was still using johnson's which of course they were not(don't want any lawsuits do i)they were nice smelling,absorbant,80 in a pack but most of all they were extremely cheap how cheap well i got a pack of 3 x80 for 2.99 and that works out bar 1p to £1 a pack compared to johnsons approx £2.99 for 80. I found no difference in quality at all and my little girl has not complained of being sore or anything. I would not buy anything other than Tesco's now and certainly won't be ripped off by Brand names again cheap can be cheerful.

- 17/07/01 I agree they're expensive - but buying them in Asda makes a big difference - £5.85 for 4x80. Still not as cheap as the Tesco ones though - must give them a try! |

- 16/07/01 I used to buy these all the time, and you're right, they are expensive compared to other brands, but you tend to asume they are going to be the best because they are Johnsons. I have tried others that have been just as good and about £1 cheaper per pack. Good op. |

- 16/07/01 Hiya good op,
I use Johnsons though as in Boots and other stores you can often get them buy 1 get 1 free.
I have used Tesco's though and I understand what you mean they are great value for money.
