Advantages: Pure and mild and versatile

Disadvantages: None

Johnson's Baby Skincare Wipes are one of my favourite, inexpensive all-round, need to have items.

These come in a pink wrapper with a baby on the front, with an easy pull out slot which can be re-sealed to prevent the wipes from drying out.

The pack contains 64 wipes, which are according to the marketing blurb "as mild as pure water to skin and eyes".

If that's not pure enough, they also do a fragrance free version.

I am fortunate that I don't have particulalarly sensitive skin, so I go for the regular packs and I rather like the baby smell associated with them.

These vary in price and are often available as 2-4-1 deals, but are around the £2.50 mark depending on where you shop, that works out at 4p per wipe which seems reasonable.

Current prices in my local stores are as follows:

Semi Chem - £2.48
Boots - £2.39

Johnson's Baby Skincare Wipes contain 97% pure water and a touch of moisturising baby lotion.

They also contain the NO MORE TEARS formula and are made in the EU.

Used wipes should not be placed in a toilet, but discarded into a bin.

Here are my top ten uses for these versatile wipes. As I say, I like to have a pack or two around the house and find they come in handy for all manner of things.

- On babies / small children - faces, hands, bums as they are marketed towards

- To take off my make-up, even mascara without excessive force

- As a wet wipe having used the loo to answer the call of nature

- To mop up spills on my laminated flooring

- To clean loo seats / sinks / baths / shower trays - handy to have if you go self catering on hols

- To clean the interior of my car

- To wipe down if I have spilled something on a piece of clothing

- To polish photo frames and similar

- To refresh my feet after a hot day

- To damp down static on my hair, before scooshing with hairspray

Summary: Great to have a pack in stock for all sorts of uses

like that list of uses - knowing me I'd probably manage to wipe my feet after a hot day with the one I just cleaned the toilet seat with :)
