When I had my baby daughter, and conversations with other parents led to talk about nappies and wipes, several people I was talking to said they didn't like the Johnson's baby wipes, finding them very thin. By this stage however I had already purchased several packs, as I had tried to pick up a variety of wipes anytime I saw a pack of offer anywhere.

Recently Tesco had these packs of Johnson's baby wipes on offer at buy one get one free, with one costing £2.44 which is costly when only buying one, but obviously not too bad when on offer. I had used Johnson's products on myself before and been happy with them, so when I had purchased these in advance of my daughter being born I was confident of their effective in ultimately cleaning my daughters bottom during a nappy change.

These Johnson's baby wipes come in a pack of 64 and have the distinctive pink packaging with the image of a cute baby on the front. The Johnson wipes that I have are fragrance free and it states on the front that these are Johnson's 'purest care ever' On the reverse of the pack, it states that these wipes are as 'mild as pure water' and can actually be used all over the body, including around the eyes, which I have to state now I have not tried on my baby. I only ever use cotton wool to clean her face. These wipes are also meant to contain the 'no more tears fragrance free moisturising lotion made of 97% water. It also states that these wipes are alcohol free, soap free and hypoallergenic.

As I stated at the beginning of this review, several people whom I have been talking to have criticised these wipes, but having now gone through several packs myself, to be honest I really cannot understand the criticism. In my opinion, these wipes are super soft, clean very very well, and are a great size meaning you go through less wipes as you can get more out of each one. I feel confident that my baby's skin is being looked after when wiping her bottom with these, especially since they are so soft to touch. Yes, they are thinner than other wipes, but in some ways it makes them easier to use, as there is less resistance against the skin, compared to some of the thicker wipes. Although I think these are quite expensive when at full price, and I certainly wouldn't consider buying them when not on offer, I will definitely buy more the next time an offer appears, as I am very happy with the product.
