Advantages: Thick, large wipes with a nice smell

Disadvantages: Too wet - they all stick together!

We bought these wipes as my daughter has very dry skin, and the other Johnsons products we had bought had worked well for her so we thought we'd try them out. They are more expensive than other wipes (especially compared to supermarket own-brands), generally around £2.50 a pack (64 wipes) but if you shop around or multibuy you can find them for around a pound, especially in the supermarkets or Boots. However, they are larger and thicker than most other wipes and have that lovely Johnsons baby smell.

These wipes are very wet, which is great if you're dealing with a really sticky horror of a nappy, but if you're trying to get them out of the packet in a rush, they all stick together and come out in one long chain. If you only have one spare hand, it's then difficult to separate one wipe to use it. The other problem with them being so wet is that they aren't very absorbent, so if you try to use them as an all-rounder wipe you can't clean up toddler spillages with them.

These wipes are supposed to double-up to remove make-up, but they didn't really get any of mine off until I rubbed my face repeatedly which wasn't ideal. They also left quite a lot of moisture on my face, which then dried and felt tight until I washed it off. They were good for my daughter's bottom and didn't dry out her skin though.

I would buy these wipes again for the size and the thickness of them, but other brands are easier to use when you're in a rush.

Summary: Almost a great product...
