I have one pair of Kooshies which fits both my 1 year old and 2 year old. They are the Large size and are superb for either swimming or playing outdoors with water.

They have both velcro and tie fixings and seem to be really comfortable, with no restriction in leg movement.

Possibly the only real disadvantage is that, once they've pooped.. the Kooshies need emptying and washing. Disposible swim pants can be changed for another pair. Then again, a quick emptying and rinse through should be fine, as they're playing in water anyway, so they're usually worn wet.

Their price is high, but they are re-used, so they are ultimately cost effective.

Kooshies are quite difficult to find and I've only managed to buy them from Boots so far. Be warned though, they do come in different sizes and all of them are packaged identically. The only clue to the size is a little check box on the pack, ticked for the appropriate size.

Summary:
