As a user of Kooshies classic infant nappies, I originally started using stores' brand plastic pants. These always seemed to dig in to my daughter's skin, even when she was a newborn. I had tried to avoid buying the waterproof wraps on the basis of cost, but eventually decided to try one as an alternative to the plastic pants. The nappy wraps are made of the same waterproof material that comprises the hidden layer in the Kooshies nappies. Unlike most waterproof nappy covers, these wraps seem to become softer yet remain strong after dozens of washes.
