Lidl Baby Wipes..........

When having a baby or toddler in nappies one thing you need a lot of is baby wipes. These can often work out pretty expensive to buy even when you get a buy one get one free offer because Pampers wipes will usually cost £2.50 pence per packet and even when you are getting one free that still works out at £1.25 pence a price that I find high when I seem to use so many.

I had tried store own brand wipes such as Tesco, Morrison's and boots but I found them either to be too small, too wet or too thin! Even when buying the expensive brand like Pampers I was not totally happy. The best I found was Huggies but again these are priced in the higher price bracket. It was a few months back now that I discovered Lidl wipes and I have not looked back!

Lidl is not somewhere where I would usually shop to buy everyday items but I will now go out of my way to go there to spend £10 on stocking up on 10 packets of these baby wipes and still have change. A packet of Lidl baby wipes costs 99 pence which is a brilliant price for what you are getting.

There is the option to get the standard wipes or sensitive ones and both I have found to be effective. The standard one I usually buy and they come in a blue packet where as the sensitive come in a white one. Either packet contains 90 wipes, which is more than the branded wipes such as Huggies (72) or Pampers (80). The Lidl wipes are not just plentiful but each large in size. With one wipe, you can clean a lot of poop off of one small bottom (however it usually takes several wipes to finish the job).

The smell of both the sensitive wipes and the standard wipes is rather pleasant and I must say I prefer the smell to that of Pampers though Huggies wipes with Shear Butter is wonderful smelling and these don't smell nicer than those. The smell is clean and fresh which is just the kind of smell you want when cleaning off poop that is anything but clean and fresh!

The wipes are damp enough to clean thoroughly but not too damp that you are putting a fresh nappy on wet skin. Even when you reach the bottom of the packet the wipes still have the same dampness to them unlike Boot own wipes that are sopping wet by the time you get to the bottom of the packet.

The thickness of the wipes is good and as yet I have never had a wipe tear on me (like Tesco value wipes did) and I don't think that is likely to happen in the future either. They are strong, thick and up to any challenge.

I will often use a wipe to clean other things such as mucky hands, faces or even toys and surfaces. These wipes work wonders for those jobs too because of their strength and size they are able to multi task, although if used to clean up poop I suggest getting rid of that wipe straight away and not trying to clean faces with it afterwards!!!

Overall I would say these wipes are the best to have by far. I have told everyone I know how great they are and people have agreed once they have tried them. The price is better than any I have seen for what you are getting which is high in quantity and quality. I would suggest anyone who uses baby wipes to get to Lidl and give these a try (even if it is not where you usually shop the saving you make on stocking up is well worth the extra trip out).

A five star rating is certainly what these Lidl wipes are going to get and if I could award more then I would. A SUPER HIGH RECOMMENDATION from me (the highest I have given for any product). After writing this I have to admit how sad it is that I am now excited over finding such a bargain as these wipes....gosh how times have changed!!!

Anyway, thanks for reading and I do hope this has been of some help to you.

And if anyone does try these on my recommendation please feel free to message me and tell me I was right!!!

Summary: I couldn't get more excited about a baby wipe if i tried!

I'll be trying these, now that my duaghter is four I still buy these for rubbing spills, chocolate marks etc. from all around the house, quicker and more sanitary than using a cloth.
