Cien Babywipes (lidl)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As we all now know Lidl are fast becoming at home amongst the leading supermarkets in the UK and Ireland. Their low prices and ever growing range of goods mean that more people are turning to them for a cheaper weekly shop. I am one of these people and even though I have always bought a few items from Lidl on a weekly basis, I find myself being more and more drawn to their everyday items at knockdown prices....
One of these such items has to be their babywipes, produced for lidl by Cien. These babywipes are becoming very popular among parents and are a fraction of the cost of the leading brands.
The babywipes come in packs of 80 and are available in normal or sensitive. I usually buy the normal wipes and these come in a blue plastic pack with a picture of a baby on the front. Also on the front there is a sticky window which helps to keep the wipes moist once opened.
The wipes themselves are pretty normal looking, infact I might even say that they are a little thicker than normal wipes. They are white in colour and soft to touch and are really moist.
They contain:
Aqua, aloe barbadensis extract, phenoxyethanol, ethythexl palmitate, parfum, sodium, sodium laurimino dipropionate, benzoic acid.
So what do I really think of the wipes?
To be honest, I think that they are great. They cost very little compared to some other brands and do the job well! Some cheaper brands of wipes tend to be thin and dry but these wipes are both thick and wet, and more importantly they seem to hold their moisture even better than expensive brands right down to the end of the pack.
They dont leave a greasy feel and the smell from them is quite light and a little fruity, very refreshing. They also work great on dirty little hands and faces and seem to be ok even on sensitive skin.
I would recommend these wipes to parents of kids of all ages and think there is no point in paying more for a name when a cheaper brand is just as good.
Summary: Great wipes at a fraction of the cost.
