A really fab buy this one, grab some today!

I can from time to time suffer with dried out looking skin particulary in the weather that we have been having recently. However I am a person that with all good intentions will buy body moisturisers and the likes and use them once or twice then can't be bothered and most of the time I find them to leave a residue on my skin I can't get on with or my skin just doesn't seem to like it. This product appealed to me though as it is aimed at babies and children so I thought for an oil it would be light and also the fact it was a spray I hoped would mean that I could not only gently massage it all over my body if I wanted to but with a bit of luck I could just spray and go as well a little of it to my very parched out areas when need be. The Packaging: This is available to purchase in only one size and that is in a see through plastic cylinder shaped bottle that holds 200ml of the product and it cost me £1.67 which I was very pleased about at the time for such a large sized product and since then I have seen this regulary on offer at any 2 things from the Little Angels range being only £3.00 so its worth stocking up then eh?! The bottle has a push button sprayer to the top of it which isn't aeresol just a pump action and on the front of it we are told that it is Asda Littles Angels 'For Mum & Baby' Light Oil Mist and that it is gentle enough for newborns and contains cotton seed and organic oat and then on the back of the bottle we are told a bit more about the product and how to use it, the ingredients are listed as is the size of it, warnings are given, we are told this is not tested on animals and to use it up within 12 months of opening it and contact details for Asda are given. This is a nice enough bottle, I like being able to see through the bottle to see how much I have left and so on my only skight niggle with this if I was to be pinickty is that it could do with an indentation to the bottle for a bit easier handling but then I'd have to be a real complainer to point that out so I'll keep stum lol! The Oil Itself: Well as it says on the bottle this is suitable for all the family from newborn babies to the elderly and is hypoallergenic, dermatologically tested and paediatrician approved and you can apply this to wet or dry skin and its said to work even better on wet skin for locking in moisture if thats something that concerns you. This sprays out quite fast and wet and the majority of the time I do have to massage it into my skin or it is too wet and being an oil a little of it does go a very long way indeed. This has a wonderful soft, sweet and natural aroma of coconuts to it which is really subtle but there and not one bit harsh or fake and I love the scent of this one to be honest as it just smells so clean. It is as promised a light oil and if comparing it to the likes of Johnsons Baby Oil this is seriously lighter than that which I really do appreciate. This sinks into the skin fast leaving my skin feeling really soft and supple and very moisturised withiiout leaving me with the feeling of a heavy grease on my skin and all I do is apply it, massage it in gently and wait a couple of minutes before dressing and because I use it sparingly I don't get residue anywhere thankfully! On my very dry bits I can spray this at arms length and get a very light spritz of it on me, again I wait a couple of minutes for it to sink into my skin before coming into contact with fabric and thats that. Its simple to use, smells great and really does moisturised my skin from the inside out opposed to the outside in and I don't ever feel one bit greasy which I can't stand. This is a fantastic beauty buy if you want it to get your skin smooth and healthy and it can be used on a daily basis too without fear of clogging or congesting your skin or you can use it on your little ones as its so soothing as well as yourself. A little of it goes a long way and even with regular usage from heavy handed me I still have over half a bottle left and I been using it everyday (ish) for the past couple of months now. At £1.67 I feel this is a steal and its just brilliant for me and my needs. Since using it I have been complimented more than once on my soft skin that I have had on display which never really happened before using this and therefore I am more than happy to use it as well as it being so kind to my old body! Available from Asda stores and from Asda.com and do remember to keep your eyes peeled for when this is on offer to grab an even better bargain that=n what it already is!

An oil mist spray which moisturises

I try and take my daughter swimming twice a week at 11 and a half months she seems to be a natural water baby and certainly isn't fazed which may be due to having started swimming at the age of 7 weeks old! When it comes to getting her dry and changed I found that trying to get her moisturised was a real chore as she is so wriggly and trying to unscrew a top or squeeze a tube with an active child is not the best combination when your child is lying down on a narrow bench! I came across the Little Angels Silky Soft Light Oil Mist in Asda when I had popped in for a few things but thought this was perfect for using when she goes swimming as it has a simple spray top. Little Angels is a range made by Asda and is exclusive to all Asda stores. The light mist oil can be found where all the other moisturisers are and can be easily identified by the Little Angels logo. The Soft Light Oil Mist comes in a clear, plastic tall narrow bottle which comes with a opaque bottle top. The label is minimal but has a soft brown colour theme (a lovely image of a brown bow on the front) and simply states what the product is on the front and on the back features the ingredients and all other information you would expect. As said above it is a spray and features a spray top which when pressed down releases the oil in a fine spray. Asda have used cotton seed and organic oat extract to give this light oil mist its moisturising properties and also to help keep your baby's skin soft and smooth. They do advise that it is hypoallergenic, dermatologically tested and paediatrician approved and it is apparently even suitable for newborns. The oil does have an aroma to it which is quite a nutty smell but it does remind me of cocoa butter which is more than pleasant and definitely not overpowering in anyway. The first time I used this on my daughter I hadn't dried her at all and found that although it was easy to spray directly onto her skin, it took ages to be absorbed which meant I couldn't get her dressed for quite a while. However, lesson learnt and the next time after she had been showered I dried her so she was damp/ nearly dry and sprayed on the light oil mist and I found it absorbed a lot quicker into her skin. The aroma is certainly lovely and does last for quite a while on the skin albeit quite subtly. After using the light oil mist now for several months I do find it a great convenience as it is so easy to spray it onto my wriggly daughter and I can then rub it in easily but I do find that even though her skin is cared for as it is so gentle it does take a while to be absorbed and I find that her skin still is a little greasy almost by the time I come to get her changed. I understand it is an oil based moisturiser but I would expect it to be fully absorbed a bit quicker as I don't like thinking that her clothes are rubbing against her skin which still has a greasy residue. Apart from this gripe of mine her skin has always been left soft and very well taken care of. She doesn't seem to have sensitive skin whatsoever and this certainly hasn't irritated her in the slightest which is good. The oil does come out in a very fine spray but you do need to hold the spray nozzle close to the skin and you only need to spray a few times to get even coverage all over the body which is great as it means your bottle lasts for quite a considerable amount of time. It doesn't have a greasy feel to it apart from the residue it tends to leave but it is light to the touch which does make a change from other oil based products. Overall, I do like this light oil spray as it does care for my daughter's skin but I don't like that it takes a while to sink in to the skin and for this reason I don't think I'd purchase it again which is a shame as a spray bottle makes life a lot easier! ~ Useful Info ~ Availability: Asda only Size: 200ml bottle Price: £1.67 or 2 for £2.50 Ingredients: Glycerin , Aqua , PEG-12 Dimethicone , Polysorbate 20 , Sodium Citrate , Butylene Glycol, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract , Gossypium Herbaceum Seed Oil , Parfum , Citric Acid , Sodium Benzoate
