Advantages: fairly cheap and very effective

Metanium nappy rash ointment is about £2.60 a tube.
The cream comes in a yellow metal tube with a white cap. When my daughter has the first sign of any nappy rash I now use metanium. I think I have done what most mums do which is I started with Sudocream and while that worked on nappy rash when both of my kids were small it.
It doesn't now and this time when my daughter gets nappy rash she scratches it and sometimes the rash has even made her private bits bleed . I went to the pharmacist would recommended this cream and I must admit it started clearing it up a bit.
Which I didn't think was that great. I took my child to see the health visitor and told her what I was using and she told me when I changed a nappy if my daughter was just wet not to wipe as this removed the cream and just to apply another layer. I followed these instructions and within a couple of days my baby was cleared and happy again. If you use this cream and it not working quick enough follow the note wiping because its wax based the urine doesn't penetate it.

Summary: very effective way to clear nappy rash
