Metanium seems to be the best kept secret until you mention to someone else you use it and then it's 'oh my god it's wonderful' but until then everyone seems to push sudocrem as the best cream.

My son suffers with the worst blisters when he's teething, they are really sore and aggravated by just about everything. In the end I took him to see the health visitor and she suggested metanium. And it's not too much of an exaggeration to say my life changed!

You only need the tiniest bit, the instructions tell you to use only enough so you can still see the skin through it. Rub it in and away you go. Within 24 hours it's dried out even the worst nappy rash blisters (and some have been about 5mm wide). It works as well as the dreaded nappy off time.

the only downside I feel is that my son has to go in disposables then not his cotton nappies because the cream might block the fleece linings. Within 2-3 days he's usually back in his reusable nappies until the next tooth cuts.

Worth every single penny you pay for it in my opinion.

Summary: For all those nappy rash problems I wouldn't use anything else
