Awful. Just Awful (Morrisons Baby Wipes)

Advantages: Good for cleaning the bathroom

Morrisons Baby Wipes are available in packs of 80 wipes for around £1.07. I recently bought these wipes (a four pack for £3.43) as we were at Morrisons and I was checking out the offers on baby wipes. I am a bit of a brand snob with wipes, as in when we are out and about I will use huggies, pampers or johnsons but at home I will happily use supermarket branded at home. Daft I know!

Having already tried other supermarket brands and being happy with those, I wanted to see if these were the same.

I was very very disappointed. Each pack I have opened has torn and hence the wipes are drying out more quickly than usual. The smell, although not unpleasant is not what I would call nice; quite chemically. They are very strong, but this is a bad thing in this circumstance, the strength makes them rough and harsh on the skin. My boy has NEVER EVER had nappy rash or a sore bottom. Until that is, I used these on his skin. Never again. His bottom flared up quite badly and looked very sore and red (though there was no grumble from him). It did settle down after a few hours, but that is not the point.

There are a couple of good points about these wipes: 1) they do come out easily, one by one from the packet and 2) they are good for cleaning things like his highchair or giving the bathroom a quick wipeover in between deep cleans. That is what I will be using the remainder of my packets for. They will be going nowhere near my little ones bottom.

I will not buying these again.
