Makes bathtime more fun and a lot easier for everyone (Mothercare Aqua Pod)

With a very wriggly six month old, bathtime was always a job for both myself and my husband. If one of us was out then he didn't get bathed. We looked around for seats, supports etc but didn't really find anything that suited us, until I spotted this.

We ordered it online from mothercare.com and it arrived quickly. It is made up of a long non slip bath bath which i would say covers most of the bath bottom keeping babies and children far enough away from the taps and the plug! who chose the blue one with duck patterns on although I think that it also comes in pink, possibly with flowers on? I didn't really look at this option as I don't think that my husband would choose this for our little boy! the mat has holes in one end for the plastic seat to fit through. The seat unit has a plastic back support and a small frame at the front for your baby to hold onto. It sticks to your bath with four or five large suckers and my experience is that it REALLY sticks! The mat has little suckers all the way around the outside with a few more further in and there is no way that this could slip anywhere.

An extra touch is a heat sensitive 'duck' at the front of the mat which is usually coloured red. This fades away to reveal the words "too hot" so you can be confident that the water will always be perfect for your little one.

The packaging states that the mat is of a longer length so that older children can sit at the other end of the bath when you have two children. As I only have the one I have to take their word for it.

Overall, I really can't fault this. I can now bath my baby on my own and be confident that he won't fall over and i can use both hands to wash him or to play. Excellent, I would recommend this to anyone.
