Not that impressed (Mothercare Fabric Bath Support)

Advantages: Helps with nerves at bath time

Disadvantages: Baby gets cold and a wet head

I didn't use this one for my first child but a friend gave it to me for my 2nd baby. Its a towelling fabric streched over a metal frame whch is higher at 1 end slanting down. It costs £7.99 from mothercare.

You fill the baby bath up and put this into it and you rest your baby on top whilst washing them with hands free.

I found it to be rather big at the botom and I had to push it quite hard into the little bath to make it more secure. When I put my baby in I noticed her head was getting quite wet and even her ears were which I didn't like much I had to keep propping her up. Her feet kept slipping off the end.

I also didn't like the fact that whilst her head was getting quite wet only her legs and bottom were really in the water which defeated the purpose of the bath as I wanted to help her with trapped wind which a deep bath is good for.

I would say its probably good if your baby feels unsure with you holding them in the bath but once you and they get their confidence its just easier to hold them how they show you in the hospital and you get to wash them properly with your free hand.

Summary: Only used mine once
