I didn't use this one for my first child but a friend gave it to me for my 2nd baby. Its a towelling fabric streched over a metal frame whch is higher at 1 end slanting down. It costs £7.99 from mothercare. You fill the baby bath up and put this into it and you rest your baby on top whilst washing them with hands free. I ... Read the complete review

The Mothercare Fabric Bath Support is made up of a terry towelling cloth covering a metal stand. It comes in white and is very reasonably priced. It is used to support baby in the bigger bath so you have a free hand to wash his hair and allows him a bit more movement than the baby bath would. I would recommend using it until baby can ... Having never used a bath seat for our first child, we looked into it when we were expecting our second as we felt it would be useful to have the newborn supported so we had a few more hands free to deal with our toddler when we bathed them together. A friend gave us a big bulky plastic thing which was sold rather quickly in an NCT sale, and the ... Read the complete review

Mothercare's fabric bath support is fantastic and makes bathing tiny babies soo much less stressful. It is not helpful for too long i would only say we used ours for a month or two however it made it soo much easier for that time. I don't know what we would have done with out it. It is hard enough to look after a tiny baby when they are soo new ... Read the complete review

Not a big fan of this one but then you do get what you pay for and in all honesty, I wish i'd spent more money on a better product. Although as first time mum I didn't know what I was looking for. However, it does have some use in general support but the material sags greatley in the water under the weight of the child although it is a nice soft ... Read the complete review

The first couple of baths my son was given were in our sink, with me holding him and my husband washing him. Great until my husband was back at work and I needed to bath H by myself! I did manage the first couple but it was hard trying to hold a squirming baby and wash him too!! So I looked in Mothercare next time I was there, and saw a ... Read the complete review

Being a first time mum I was petrified of bathing my son. He was so tiny I just didn't understand how you could hold a baby AND wash them at the same time. It took my husband and I to bath him, a bit like a tag team. This made it very difficult if my husband was working late, as we would have to wait till my husband came home to bath him. My ... Being pregnant for the third time has made me slightly reminiscent of my previous pregnancy and baby experiences, it gives me a lot of food for thought as I decide what products I will or will not be reusing or replacing for baby Lumpys arrival in July. Back in 2004 when I was expecting my first child I was naturally a bit apprehensive, I'd not ... Read the complete review

I bought one of these because i felt it would be safer for baby whilst in the bath to have that extra "something" holding baby while you wash them..If you consider how quickly a baby grows and the fact that they do not stay still for very long then it doesn't seem a very good investment to buy one.. I think i paid £8 from ... Read the complete review
