Good for space saving and travelling uses (Mothercare Fold Away Bath)

Good space saving bath tub, useful for travelling. I bought this bath as it has a soft rubbery/plastic base and has a flap which attaches to one end of the bath to give an incline rest for the baby.

The bath is compact and easy to fold up. However, the 4 legs made of hard plastic do not open up very well - I find it hard to click these into place in order for the bath to sit on the floor properly.

The base is made of a rubbery/plastic type material and is quite thick so punctures are unlikely. There is also a small clear plastic drain release plug at the base, although I find it faster to tip the water out of the bath instead of waiting for it to drain out through the small release plug.

The inflatable sections are supposed to help keep the incline part up but I've never used this as it's too much hassle to blow this up for each bath and then deflate it after to pack the bath away.

All in all, good if you want a space saving solution and need to use this for travelling. If not, a normal plastic bath tub will suffice as it's not very easy to drain a floppy bath and the incline position is rarely used as you would probably be holding up the baby in your arm anyway.

Summary: Good if travel or space saving requirements are the main criteria
