Potty training is not easy and to be perfectly honest it isn't fun. I have potty trained 2 children and am in the process of doing it with the 3rd. I Went to Mothercare on a stock up trip and decided to buy it to keep in about a year ago. You can now choose from a vast variety of potty's but for me the plain old basic ones work every time.
This is a solid, smooth, substantial potty. It has a lovely high back for added support for your little ones back, the bowl is sufficiantly deep enough to allow for a huge wee(if your lucky) and it also has the splash guard for little boys at the front. At the grand total of £4.99 and on special offer at the time when I bought it(3 for 2 offer) I got 3 for ten pounds. One for the bedroom, one for the toilet and one for the living room.
My little girl has no problems using it and will sit on it for quite some time without it leaving red marks anywhere. My nephew uses it and we never have any splashes and it is so easy to clean. No fiddly or hidden parts.
I know you can buy all singing potties now but for me personally a big clap and congratulations works just as well as a toilet that has a pretend handles that makes flushing noises.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone with children. No nonsense and no frills but gets the job done.
