This cost me £6.99 from Mothercare and it was one of the best purchases I made when my son was born! It is still available at Mothercare online, I am not sure about the shops themselves as I rarely visit them now.

It is basically a sponge with a baby cut-out shape for your little one to lie on safely while you bathe them. I don't know how I would have coped without this!
It is easy to wash (I put it in the washing machine at 40degrees), its a one-size-fits-all for all babies.

The downfall for this item is storage. It is quite large and you have to give it a good wring out before storage. We used it daily so it's wrung out and hung on the back of the bathroom door in a bag!
We used this with K until he was about is 9 months old and we wouldn't hesitate to purchase another.

It is very important to remember though that babies can roll over remarkably quickly so while it gives you two hand to bathe etc don't leave the bath-side. We had to use a baby bath emollient to ease my sons dry skin, which makes the bath all the more slippery so this item was a definite must.
I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is cheap, good quality, lasts well and provides the all important peace of mind.

Summary: A great tool for making bathtime even more fun and enjoyable than it already is!
