Advantages: Cheap, slim fitting, quick drying

Disadvantages: not too absorbent

Firstly note that these shaped terry nappies cost just two pounds each, while most other brands cost about 4 or 5 times as much. With this in mind it's not a wonder they are not as great as Koshies etc. They are however very cheap, not at all bulky and dry a great deal quicker than regular Terries.

With my toddler I find that they are now getting rather small, but as he is two, that's not bad! I have ironed iron-on Velcro into them which is great because it means they don't need pins. It took me about an hour to do ten, but that was two years ago now, and was time well invested. This also makes them slightly wider as they are quite slim at the top, so helping them fit for longer.

Until Christian was 4 months old one nappy was enough, but I now use two, and only use them in the day time or as a liner in a normal terry at night to make it more absorbent. They are not super absorbent, but they are also very slim, thinner than pampers playtime disposables, so great for in the summer under shorts.

In brief a good value basic that, with a bit of adaptation, does the job.

I have thought about getting some re-usable nappies for my son, but never got round to it - perhaps I should get some from my daughter now. Thanks for the informative op.
