Advantages: Cheap, effective and really works!

Disadvantages: None

My daughter is 5 months now and -touch wood- hasn't suffered with any nappy rash and the reason for this is .. Boots Zinc & Castor Oil cream.

I started off using my free sample of Sudocrem after every nappy change as a deterent but I didn't like it and after reading the container decided that I would only use it if she actually got nappy rash. I thought that she should have some kind of barrier cream, so off I went to Boots to have a good read.

The Zinc & Castor Oil cream claims to 'create a gentle yet effective barrier'.... and it's true! It has a pleasant smell, goes on so easily (not thick like Sudocrem!) and does not contain lanolin which can be an irritant - particularly to me because I'm allergic to everything ;o(!

The price is good too. A 150ml tub is about 1.30.

All in all a VERY good buy and it lasts for ages, I'm only on my second tub!
